of TripAdvisor Travelers recommend this hotel
Our stay at this hotel was beyond perfect. The hotel is in a very calm and quiet area, but also extremely close to the Eiffel tower, Seine river and 2 major subway entrances that made it easy to travel through Paris. There is a supermarket right across the street and a pastry shop next door that we visited frequently. Not only is the location great, the staff is amazing. There are not enough good things we can say about Robert (and the other staff members). We had issues with our flights coming over from the USA, but Robert rearranged and accommodated us with everything!!! Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice stay in Paris.
"Rooms a bit small, Great Staff"
The rooms are a little small, but I guess that should be expected so close to the centre of Paris. Although small the rooms were functional and the staff were really great, helpful and professional. I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again.
"Wonderful experience at Le Marquis Hotel"
The staff was very warm and helpful in everything they could, hotel is nice and chic, very well located, confortable beds, spacious bedrooms for Paris standard (try to avoid the corner rooms they are nice but a little bit reduced) higher rooms have a balcony, bathroom clean and toilette spacious as my husband is a big man it was one of my concerns. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was very good. There are also a lot of restaurants nearby, there is a supermarket just across the street ( very helpful) and a laundry on the other corner. Our experience was wonderful. We will certainly come back.
"Very nice place to stay for our first time in Paris"
The hotel is situated nicely near the Eiffel Tower. It was a pleasure to walk by the tower on our way to and from the city. Very clean area and wasn't all "touristy busy" during the day or after hours. Lots of nice restaurants within walking distance. There is a market right across the street which is a nice touch. Upon checkin, we were greeted and promptly show to our room on the third floor. We were there at 11AM and our room was ready for us! We dropped off our bags and headed out to see Paris. Once we made it back from the day's sightseeing, we noticed that the TV didn't have any channels connected. We signed into wifi and watch Netflix! Room was small, but clean. There were complimentary sodas and water in the fridge. They had nice bath robes and slippers in the bathroom for the both of us. The room was quiet, even though we were next to the elevator. The cleaning service did a great job of keeping the room cleaned up for us. We did not eat in the hotel, but it looked to be busy in the morning when we headed out for the day. The only real issue that I saw was that there were no ice machines on the floor (I think that is a European thing) and there was not ironing board or iron in the room. (Not a huge deal, just an observation) All in, it was a nice hotel that was very quiet and it didn't break the bank.
"Always a pleasure"
We visit Paris annually (where possible). We discovered the Marquis a few years back and have made it our home in Paris. We have friends in the 15th so it's ideally placed for visiting them, as well as for walking along the Seine to our favourite haunts in the Marais as well as most of the "touristy" stuff. The hotel itself is quiet, with beautifully appointed rooms and friendly, helpful, multilingual staff. I'm hesitant to praise it too much, 'cos I'd hate it to get too popular. But, frankly, we wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.
