"Meal Time Chaos Only Complaint"
Really good hotel , unique in its design, spacious rooms, good food and excellent helpful staff.....the pool lagoon layout enables plenty of choice and there is a kids area pool as well - the under 10 age group looked well catered for by the animation team and the themed 'Panchi' was clearly a hit with the younger visitors . BUT there is a problem and that is meal times can be spoilt by poor organisation resulting in queues and mayhem yet it is very clear what the problem is and I am hoping this review will help the management rectifying the problem. The main meal servings consist mainly of freshly cooked meat and fish but the pre prepared vegetables and other alternatives are all served form one continuous station hence those waiting for a steak will still be in the same queue as those wishing to access vegetables or an alternatives......additionally the chefs are confused because they have tasks of not only cooking but ensuring the other meals are supplied .....the result is confused customers waiting in queues, cold food and frustration yet there are large serving areas for bread and cheese - so the solution is to provide a separate hot serving area from the main cooking area so people can access vegetables or alternative main meals without disrupting the serving of that which is freshly cooked and then make the bread and cheese sections smaller.......this problem is exactly the same at breakfast with people waiting for eggs and omelettes etc . Other than that it would be nice to have those who smoke to be restricted at meal times or be offered a designated area...........these problems aside I can recommend this as a great resort hotel that will be even better if these problems can be resolved.
Enjoyed my stay here with my daughter and grandson ,very very child friendly great pool area for kids ,we had a family room ,great size unfortunately there was work going on in nearer supermarket which created a lot of noise , the Hotel upgraded us to a Master Suite and were very apologetic for our inconvenience thanks for that My only gripe would be , the ques for food in the eve by the time you waited in line got back to the table food wasn't hot In 2017 no one should have to pay for wifi in a five star hotel nor should you have to pay to use the in room safe. The wifi I think everyone I spoke to had an issue with
Overall a great hotel. We were upgraded to a family suite which was fab. Food was great. Pools a little cold. Kids club was not the sort of pace I would leave my 4 year old on his own old due to lack of security.
Was recommended to this hotel by a pal. Didn't really know what to expect but we were blown away from start to finish! Requested a top floor room which we were given and the view was brilliant. We thoroughly enjoyed the food which was freshly prepared each day with a hugely varied menu. There would have to be something wrong with you if you could not enjoy the food. Staff very efficient and helpful without being in your face. Agree with other reviewers regarding English speaking TV channels, it is a MUST! Should be so easy to organise' Sunbeds were a slight problem whereby people reserved more than they needed, i.e reserving 3/4 beds for 2 people. Aware this is always going to be a problem but maybe use a system whereby your room number can be allocated to specified sunbeds. Know this is a system which operates quite well in hotels we have frequented. Agree totally with other reviewers regarding safety deposit and an adult only pool.
My partner and I stayed here just last week and we both thought the hotel was the best place we have ever stayed. We would highly recommend this hotel to people as staff, food and facilities incredible.
