OMG!! Amazing!!! Amazing!!! Amazingly Beautiful.. This Hotel is Definitely A 5star Treatment I would recommend anyone anytime.. From The Refreshing Smell to The Hotel staff and service I give it an all around 10.. I'm ready to go back Now!!
I chose the Mandarin Oriental because it was a property close enough to the event we were attending and because other hotels in this chain have not only been stylish but had wonderful service. Style we got; service we didn't. First despite check in at 3 pm our room wasn't ready until 4:30 and then after pushing the front desk. Next our room was not serviced nor did we get turn down. The open bathroom concept is not to our liking although there were shades and doors, thank heaven.The best part of our stay was the interesting and delicious Peruvian restaurant. So the hotel was indeed stylish with little substance.
We spent one quick night at this hotel for a family event. Room was ok, although there was no comfortable chair and we are not fond of the op n bathroom concept. However, we arrived at 4 pm, knowing that check in time as 3 pm. Our room was not ready, and we waited until almost 5 for it to finally be better. We were given a free beverage, but The overall attitude was no rush, we don't much care. When we were ready to check out the next day, there was a long wait, and, again, a very very uncomfortable lacjadaisical attitude as we waited. To complete the poor service issue, we did not receive turndown service.
What a wonderful welcome from everyone at the Manderin Oriental in Miami... A tasty and refreshing cold tea was offered to us as soon as we reach the counter. Made us feel at home. A fine interaction with valet parking personnel and willing to help right away
We stayed there 2 nights. Outside building is impressive and well situated. Very Professional staff from reception to restaurant. Special thanks to the excellent service during our dinner! All was perfect! Very tasty breakfast buffet with large choice of fresh food. Large, clean room, but a bit outdated ... will probably need a refreshment soon... Same for bathroom. Weakness: no coffee machine in the room! In 2017 almost all hôtels in the word offer in room coffee facilities. Nice terrace with nice view but again terrace itself a bit outdated. So a nice stay with good service but don't expect new hotel style.
