"Best Hotel in Manila"
We always love this hotel and always stay there for a night or two whenever we visit the Philippines. This time around, we were treated to the new building and we were amazed at how much better the rooms were. The Decor and ambience was much better and comparable to those 5 star hotels in Las Vegas, San Diego, San Francisco or Los Angeles. The Executive Lounge was also wonderful with outstanding service. They serve Breakfast, snacks, sandwiches, cookies, and even has cocktail hours in the Executive Lounge. The Airport Shuttle is always a big plus for us because we don't have to worry about transportation to the airport. We always look forward to our next stay in this Marriott.

Marriott Cafe Staff, bellmans special mention to Marco...thank you so much! We are so blessed to have you as our friends.
"One of the best hotels in Manila"
Enjoyed my time in the new wing of the hotel. The bar in the lobby area "Still" was nice and exposed me to some new spirits. The concierge lounge was nice. I was able to get a decent variety of food. The hotel was quiet and clean. Service is exceptional as expected. Hope this was helpful Please vote
"A Mixed Bag"
I was at this hotel for a conference. The fact that it was next to the airport was a bonus for me as I had a 7.40 am flight and being next door to the airport meant more sleeping time. Getting to the property was the first bit. They have a free shuttle bus. But it leaves only on the hour. So I got on the bus at 6.20pm but had to wait till 7pm before it moved. I asked about walking to the hotel and the driver mentioned I would have to cross several roads and the way there was not clear. So....wait.. To the hotel and good reaction from the bell boys and greeting staff. Check in was smooth and I was upgraded to a suite. Very nice. Not so great was that it was in the west wing which was a bit of a trek. The supervisor walked me across which was great as she could talk me through the hotel facilities. When we got there, she put me in the lift and left me to go up myself. The suit was fantastic. Huge. But...no desk. For some reason, it had a round table. Hmmm...Being traditional, I wanted a desk with power plugs close by. So called up the front desk and no one answered. Press "0" and no one answered. Pressed "9" and nothing happened.....Seems this is a issue with this hotel as some of my fellow delegates at the conference mentioned this also. So I packed up my bag and went downstairs again and made the trek back to the front desk where I requested a change to a "normal" room with a desk. This was done easily and it was in the tower where the lobby was! Much more convenient. But no more suite. Also, the Club Lounge was on the other Tower so I never made it back there. The room was tight and functional. For some reason a lot of hotels now have glass tables. I guess designers do not use computer mouse as the laser goes right through the glass..... Dinner and breakfast was at the same place. At dinner when there were less people, the staff was great and attentive. At breakfast they were not to be seen. Food for both was good. Leaving the hotel was more difficult. The experience is also different. While you are greeted by multiple people when checking in, you leave on your own. I was looking for a golf cart which that had as a alternative to the shuttle as this could leave immediately rather than wait for the hour. However, you would have to walk a little I was told. The concierge that was sent to take me to the buggy walked me to the door, saw his friend and walked off with her. I ended up waiting for the shuttle. All in all, inconsistent would be how I describe this hotel. Had its good, had its bad.
