"Amazing, unique hotel!"
My fiancé and I stayed at hotel N'vy in May 2017 for two nights. We would absolutely recommend this hotel. The hotel is in a perfect location- not too close to all the tourist/busy attractions, but perfect walking distance to everything. It is about a 2 min walk to the water and a 20 min walk to old town. The hotel provides free water taxi tickets in case you don't want to make the walk around the bay. The hotel gym was very good. We didn't use the hotel restaurant or bar since we were out exploring the city, but they looked amazing as well. A modern and chic hotel!
"Very nice hotel, well located"
Room is a little on the small side, but it is well thought out and functional. Hotel is very convenient (close to the lake, public transportation, easy walk to downtown, easy access to highways, valet parking) and very quiet for a hotel that is this close to downtown Geneva. Service is very nice and efficient. Restaurant offers a choice of dietary/healthy menus which are welcome after a long flight. Pop / street art lovers will like the decoration!
"Great hotel and good quiet location"
We've stayed here in January for just one night. The stay was everything that expected to be. During the stay the staff was very accommodating and I personally found no minuses. The room were spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable (had a great sleep). I would go and stay again at this hotel.
"Tone it down a bit"
This is a comfortable hotel with very good staff. Well located for the ITU and UN, should you wish to be located in that way. Everything done by the staff is done very well with the exception of the breakfast buffet, which is the usual fodder served-up in hotels. The restaurant and bar food are ok though and there are some good restaurants within walking distance. Try Little India. The décor is just too much. There is graffiti on the wall in my room; I won't tell you what it says because it meaningless. The bar and lounge area are populated by strange dolls, equipped with light sabres and that sort of thing. The colour scheme is indescribably vulgar. The overall effect is that of a last minute submission to examination at art college by someone hovering around the pass mark. There have been at least two photo shoots in the lounge during my stay and a radio broadcast of some kind. They really are trying too hard to be a venue. At the end of the day, it's just a place to sleep, eat breakfast and maybe get a drink. So, I would say direct some of that resource into improving breakfast and go for some neutral, calming colours.
"Nice hotel for business"
I stayed here for two weeks. The hotel is located near the tram which makes it convenient. It is a few blocks away from the lake. It is decently located but not at the heart of anything. The room is nice and modern. It's comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the restaurant is decent but not extraordinary. You can order off the menu even if breakfast is included. Not a lot of variety but good quality. The decor is interesting and the bar is the type of place that Austin Powers would have gone to... shagadelic! :)
