The Hotel Meliá Valencia is located in the fastest growing area in Valencia, next to the Congress Centre on the Corts Valencianes Avenue, only 15 minutes by car from Manises International Airport and 15 minutes by metro from the new AVE high speed train station. This hotel in Valencia is only 3 kilometres from the centre of the city with excellent travel services by metro, bus or tram. The hotel has an excellent location very near the future new ground of Valencia football club.
Me and my partner stayed here for her birthday whilst on holiday in Valencia. I paid extra for a 'premium room' which is on the 21st floor. The room we were given was breathtaking. We had amazing views of the city and were blown away by both this view and the size/amenities in the room. The bathroom with massage bath, separate shower, the desk area, large tv with English channels, and small free items and kits included made our stay so memorable. This has got to be close to the tallest building in the city and falling asleep with the curtains open and waking up to the views we had was unforgettable. We didnt eat in the hotel but I assume it wouldve been very nice judging by how nice the room was. Will definitely return, and will definitely have a premium room again to enjoy the city.
"Family visit holiday"
This is our 3rd year that we visited the hotel over the Christmas period. Each time we had an excellent experience. Christmas eve Gala is one of the attractions that attracted us to the melia.staff at all levels are excellent, nothing too difficult for them .I would like to mention one of the managers named DANIEL which knows his job incredible well.very approachable and most helpful, handled an issue in a very professional manner and very satisfying to us.well done and we will be back!!! "Poor service at all levels"
My company had a conference in Valencia and we filled this hotel during the off-season. But the staff was a combination of aloof and disengaged. The front desk staff didn’t speak English, or pretended not to, especially when expressing frustration over the constant construction and jack hammering of tiles or similar material in the room next to us. We complained numerous times about the loud noise but were told the hotel was full. the construction was daily from 12N to 500P. I found it odd they would schedule renovations during a sold out period without blocking rooms adjacent to the construction. The restaurant staff was equally blasé. They sat us at a dirty table because they didn’t want us using a clean table while they had started breaking down the breakfast buffet. During one of the lunches in the banquet hall a server spilled a plate of food and utensils down my back while I was seated. I went upstairs to my room, changed shirts, and took the soiled shirt to the front desk. I asked them to clean it. They said they could give me something to clean it, and offered no apology or assistance. I told them I didn’t have time to clean it and it was the Hotel’s responsibility. They finally took the shirt and had it cleaned fo me. These are just a few examples where this hotel hasn’t really grasped proactive service or putting the customer first.
Truly sorry for the late review! From start to finish this hotel met all our expectations and more! We stayed in 6 rooms b+b over the marathon weekend, the reception and bar staff were all friendly and approachable and the rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfasts were very good but the hot selection wasn’t hot only warm. The hop on/off bus stops right outside, taxis are around €8 into town and we also got the tram to the beach which is just around the back of the Congress centre (you can also get off at pont de fusta with a short walk to the cathedral) We ate in the bar and the burgers were second to none! If travelling to Valencia again I would most definitely stay here again, thank you melia ❤️
"Celebrate new year event"
I have done reservation for 3 rum, 2 in my name( relaxation rum and junior suite) and one in my sister name( duple rum with view) Who arrived before us , we were surprised when we knew that my sister get our relaxation rum and we get the ordinary duple rum! The rum was very warm, the receptionist promised several times to send a mechanical to see the what was wrong with our air condition which never happened during our stay. We wished our staying in the hotel to be a dream holiday , but it was really disappointing in different way We have a bad experience in the gala dinner, because of different reason we wanted to eat a food which dose not included seafood or pork , we get non eatable soup instead, When we protested for it , we get under cooked tuna which was awful. Clean rum , great location
