The hotel is simply amazing! It is inside a large complex of hotels, with many facilities and the opportunity to travel across to enjoy bar and restaurants. You can move across with buggies, there are pools and an amazing gym. The staff is very supportive and the breakfast super dooper!!
"Another Amazing Time"
Mina A'Salam never lets us down, its staff, facilities and surroundings are simply the best. My family and I (Wife and 9 year old son) traditionally stay for 2 weeks in Dubai and take up the half board deal that the hotel offers. One cannot go wrong with this, there are so many restaurants within the Jumeirah group of hotels to choose from, all tastes are catered for. All staff members are friendly and courteous, especially Bijo from Hanaaya restaurant and our good friend Terrence, service with a smile all the time. All the serving staff in the Hanaaya breakfast buffet restaurant are wonderful people and super. They are so in tune with your needs that on occasions they knew what we wanted before we even asked. Couldn't ask for more regarding facilities, pools are clean, buggies running on overdrive, abras on tap, Talise Spar on point, sea warm and beautiful (watch out for jellyfish, not everyone reacts to the stings but a bit disconcerting when you see them). Now that the Al Naseem hotel has completed the whole area has come together. Being Dubai construction never ends, so now Wild Wadi Water park is being worked on, it's expected in Dubai that you are never far from construction but Dubai does it best to minimise impact and i can vouch for that. Overall, still one of the best hotels in Dubai and it still trumps Atlantis.
"This hotel is amazing"
This is our 2nd visit to th Mina a Salam. We had an ocean deluxe room I cannot fault this hotel The staff are great and a special mention to Shatra in Hanaaya restaurant-she is a credit to the hotel ..every morning she had a big smile that lit up the room. Nothing was too much trouble. This hotel has everything a family could need in a holiday and with it being attached to Madinat Jumeirah and part of the Jumeirah group hotels there are lots of restaurants to choose from. We were on half board and had over 50 restaurants to choose from (some did have a supplement) The pool area is lovely just catching a bit of a breeze which is much needed in July where the daily temp was 43-44 degrees ! Also the pool at al Nasseem and Al Qasr are really nice if you fancy a change if scene (as you are staying in Mina you can use facilities of the other Hotels ..except the Burj al Arab) I would recommend this hotel to anyone .. families..singles...couples..business travellers..it has everything you could need. Can't wait to return
"A wonderful hotel with amazing staff "
We have just returned from a two week holiday at the Mina Salam . We could not of been happier with our stay . Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean and the twice daily service to tidy up and make the beds was always 100% nothing missed . Every night at the turn down service we were given a little gift and the towels made into an animal . We had booked the premium leisure which meant we had access to the lounges for breakfast afternoon tea and alcoholic drinks between 6-8 . The lounge at the Mina a Salam had a good range of soft drinks and food for afternoon tea . We would like to thanks Grace and Edward for always being very attentive in all of our needs for dining etc they are both a credit along with all the other staff . The lounge at the Al Quasir in the evening had a good range of alcoholic drinks and the bartender was excellent along with the guys serving and clearing up . The choice of restaurants was huge some better than others and we never struggled to find places to eat on the half board getting about by Abra or beach buggy the guys were always friendly and had smokes for you . We will definitely return next year could not fault the Jumeirah group at all .
We stayed at the Mina a'salaam for 7 nights and would say the overall excuse was good. We arrived after a night flight and were told that our room was ready. We went to our room and discovered our view was of the the hotel next door. This would have been fine, but we were on the ground floor facing some type of maintenance room of the next door hotel. We went back to the reception spoke to Dinesh, the staff member who had checked us in. He proceeded to tell us that this was the room we had paid for. I told him I had not paid to stay across for the constant whirring noise of the maintenance room. I suggest this young man, needs some training on customer service or perhaps standards are slipping' We were told that we would need to wait for another room to be cleaned, which was fair enough. We had to wait for 2 hours, which again wasn't an issue, until I found out that the hotel was considerably under occupied. They could see we had two young children, who were so tired, but clearly they didn't care. On the plus points... -lovely Raju, who was our cleaner on our floor. Nothing was too much trouble. -staff in the haanaya restaurant were all lovely and made our children feel so welcome. -pool staff at Al quasr swimming pool were all excellent and attentive. I would say having stayed at JBH, a number of times, the check in experience is poor at Mina a'salaam in comparison.
