Beautiful hotel. So charming with the abras and the setting. Romantic. Wonderful view. No need to leave the madinat as everything is right there. So child friendly. Best hotel in Dubai. Stayed in the madinat 3 out of 7 visits to Dubai. 3 being the past 3 times as it's impossible to book another hotel. Absolutely fantastic..can't say enough about it.
This hotel is outstanding. Just make sure upon check in they get everything correct. Created some issues checking out. Other then billing issues this is a fantastic resort at all levels! Your stay will be outstanding.
We stayed here for two nights after visiting our son and family in Australia. What a fabulous hotel. We were upgraded on arrival - our check in was at 5.30am and the place was so calming on entry and the staff couldn't do enough. Our room was breathtaking - overlooking both the lagoon and ocean with its beautiful Sandy beach. The Ubra boats were a great way of getting around along with the driver driven buggies. The food here is exceptional - you want for nothing. Half board allowed you to eat a three course meal at the 50 odd restaurants around the complex. The only downside is the price of the alcohol in both the hotel and bars /restaurants - expect to pay 10.00 for a normal bottle of Corona - 8.00 for coffee and between 10/12 pounds for a glass of wine. The views are amazing and we would strongly recommend the hop on hop off bus excursion which includes a boat trip - this is around 50.00 per person but well worth it as you see all you need to...the high rise...the malls....and if course you get the usual earplugs on the trip to give you city information. This part of the world shouldn't be missed - take a hat sunnies and plenty of sunscreen as we visited in the depth of their winter and it was red hot! Around the pool area the staff escort you - place towels on your chosen subbed bring you iced water and sometimes melon after they put up your umbrella - it was total luxury for us for a few days after an emotional farewell in Australia. Would certainly recommend. All staff were amazing.
"Harbor of Peace...indeed!"
One of 4 properties within the "village" of Jumeirah Madinat. This hotel is where Dubai and Abu Dhabi residents come to get away from the city. And although this property offers quiet paths, HUGE rooms, beaches, pools, incredible fitness center, and many great restaurants; it's the remarkable staff that sets this property apart from the others...sophisticated, yet understated; the absolute definition of service. I had an ocean view room, which offered stunning views of the beach and-depending on time of day- the ever-changing Burj Al Arab. I slept with the balcony doors wide open to wake each morning to stunning views of the beach, and the Burj Al Arab. It was honestly a challenge to leave the balcony, and/ or room ea morning. And despite plans to explore Dubai; I honestly never left the property....except to explore the Burj Al Arab. Have the concierge set you up with a meal at Scape (on the back terrace), or a spa day there...both great values for the experience. I was blessed to be given Executive Club access, and with two locations ( beach and 2nd floor). Both lounges offered an even quieter retreat, and a staff always determined to make sure you never left hungry. REMARKABLE!
