NoMo SoHo is located in Manhattan's vibrant SoHo district, just steps from shopping, boutiques and art galleries, and near the Statue of Liberty, Freedom Tower, Wall Street, Canal Street, Chinatown, Little Italy, Brooklyn Bridge and South Street Sea Port.
Room was tiny and workout room was almost as small. The location, however, is great and the staff is friendly. And because of these two things, I will likely stay here again.Comment of R. Jeffrey , United States the 2016-09-21
Location, location, location! In the centre of Soho handy to great retail, restaurants and bars. Rooms are tight but larger than most NYC small rooms. Great bathrooms and love the shower with view over NYC.
I was fortunate enough to stay here with my girlfriend whilst she was working in NY. It's her preferred place to stay but this time we were allocated a corner room on the 24th floor, one below the penthouse, with amazing views uptown. For me, the views made the room perfect. Almost didn't want to leave my aerie and came close to succumbing to a Howard Hughes (in his later years) like metamorphosis. Things to mention: Shower was powerful, with multiple heads and continuous hot water. Marble floors so watch yourself. Bed is super comfy. Temperature controls work. Internet: 3 wifi connections for the duration of stay. Quiet, other than the workmen with hammers and a circular saw above my head each morning. They were obviously working on the penthouse refurbishment as the 25th Floor viewing platform was closed. No idea how long they will be working on it but it is annoying. I'm not overly hot on the design of the 'door' between the bathroom and the bedroom - it's pretty pointless and some may prefer a little more privacy. Staff are helpful. The door lock wasn't working one day - they got it fixed after I insisted it was done post haste. Well positioned. Around the corner from the Red store which is handy if you're into those things. Set away from the road with a seating area out front for the smokers. The entrance has an arch of greenery leading to the front doors - prettily lit in the evening with fairy lights. You just have to get past the constant stream of Japanese kids taking selfies. I didn't really frequent the bar or restaurant, other than once but I am assured their breakfast is excellent. The bar itself is nice enough from a visual perspective. One thing I didn't like is that the reception isn't on the ground floor but one floor up, so you have to lug your luggage an extra stop before making it to your room. To me, this is not what a hotel should be about - however they may well have their reasons. Maybe trying to keep the entrance to the bar free of people checking in/out. No idea but I found it inconvenient. I can't comment on value as I wasn't footing the bill but the rooms aren't large but perfectly adequate for a couple. Would I stay here again' Yes.
"Not worth the money"
I thought it was supposed to be a 5star hotel but it turned out the same as a 3atar hotel. The room was very small and cheap. It just have a bunch of mirrors that make people want to take photos everywhere so it got popular on the internet' It doesn't worth the money at all. We also found a huge bug in our room. And the manager acknowledged us what the bug is. Yes I admire your knowledge. But you could give us a new room, or have some one clean the room again, or at least give us slippers. I don't care what the bug is it's disgusting.
"The Nomo Soho hotel is one of the better hotels i stayed at in NY. The staff is very helpfull and supportive."
This hotel i can highly recommend to everybody who goes to NY and likes to stay near Soho area. The rooms are perfeft and the bed is also of excellent quality and for a ciy as big as NY the rooms are very quiet too.
"Couldn't Have Been Better"
Always a great stay in a great facility! It was our annual trip to NYC and our favorite hotel. The facility is clean, service attentive, food and beverage well conceived and prepared. Fabulous view from the 25th floor, thanks!
