Just footsteps away from Siam BTS Skytrain Station, in the heart of downtown Bangkok, Novotel Bangkok on Siam Square is perfectly located for leisure, shopping and entertainment.
"Centrally located. 5 minute walk to Siam Center"
Stayed here 2 previous time. Centrally located to Siam Square, BTS lines. Perfect location for me. When entering the hotel, the first thing that stands out, is the lobby. Circular in shape. There are swing like chairs, many tables, large flat screen TV's, a mini bar, sandwiches, bread and sweets that can be purchased in this area. They also have tour representatives to help guests plan different tours and a representative that will assist guests for massages in the hotel. A salon is also located in the lobby. They have ATM machines as well. On the 4th floor, an outdoor heated pool is located, and on this floor, there is an area for a gym and sauna (I believe). The hotel is very clean, the staff are friendly and very professional. I was particularly impressed with the attention to detail. They also have in-room dining, and I found the meal to be excellent. I had a ceasor salad, chicken wings and Thai soup ( I was hungry ), plus a soft drink and ice cream. The meal was served within 30 minutes. On the 2nd floor, is where the main dining area is located, serving breakfast and I believe dinner as well, though I never partook the evening meal. Depending on your reservation, the breakfast meal is either included or not. The cost is around 495 bt, I believe (close to $15.00 USD) My room was spacious, clean and very comfortable to sleep. The AC worked very well and wasn't loud. My room faced the street, but it was quiet. Water pressure was good and hot. There are some options to getting here from the hotel, and I chose the hotel limo this time, as it was very convenient for me(1000 bt = $30.00 USD), but you can get a taxi for 500 bt. Depending on arrival time, the travel to the Hotel can be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. Overall, my experience at Novotel Bangkok on Siam continues to be outstanding.
Highly recommend as ideally located in central Bangkok within walking distance to BTS, Siam Paragon and plenty of restaurants and malls. There is a 711 across the street for convenience. Plenty of foot massage shops within walking distance. Attentive and friendly staff.
"Nice hotel great location"
Novotel siam has been a regular choice for me for over 7 years Its centrally located right opposite siam paragon n metro which makes my life easy when i m travelling with my wife who is a shopoholic n the other best thing about this hotel is that they have a halal brekfaat section which makes itvall the more convenient downstairs there is 24 hour 7/11, beauty parlor/saloon and a spa which makes everybody happy
Location is everything. No regrets. Its near to Siam BTS, which is the interchange for 2 BTS lines. It's less than 5mins walk to major shopping centres. It's walking distance to Pratunam area via skybridge. It's located right in the centre of Siam Square and have few famous eateries just beside. Name a few.. After You, Som Tam, Hard Rock, Hello Kitty Cafe... Will definitely return for my next trip to BOK.
"Very handy location, pretty comfy too"
I chose this hotel as I needed to be very central, and especially near the convention hall in the Paragon centre. This hotel was great for that as it is about a 2 minute walk from the most central BTS (metro) station, "Siam", and then only another 1 minute walk on the other side of the BTS to Paragon. Bearing in mind how bad the traffic in Bangkok can often be, a hotel very near the BTS, and walkable to many central locations, is really rather handy for me. I got an OK price for a club room this time, and it was nice, though actually the club rooms don't have a bath (anyway mine didn't), but the staff told me regular rooms do have a bath! So bear that in mind depending on how you like to bathe. The shower in my room was ok though none too powerful. The club lounge is actually on the ground floor. Unusual, and I must admit I like a high view in lounges. BUT actually this had an upside: far more convenient in the mornings... I could sneak an extra coffee, or breakfast item, whilst waiting for my uber to fight its way through the traffic to me. I could not so easily do that if the lounge were on a high floor. So all in all this ground floor lounge worked for me. Room service always prompt and generally ok fare, though nothing earth-shatteringly tasty. Staff helpful and spoke good English, except there were a couple hiccups on the phone ordering room service. Nothing major, and they worked hard to fix the error, so that's AOK. Over all... I will stay again. Convenience due to location is the main reason, but it was pretty comfy too. I have stayed in more comfy hotels in Bangkok, but they cost more. So this is a fair trade-off I reckon.
