"Poor wifi ruins everything"
I stayed for 2 nights. The room is fantastic and clean. Service is amazing. The restaurant next to the lobby is good and not pricy. Wonderful international breakfast. Great value for the price. Too bad for the poor wifi. Just forget streaming. It will be a miracle if you'll be able to update your feed.Strangely enough, the wifi in the lobby works perfectly.
perfect breakfast with natural juice and smoothie. very clean room with sufficient place fabulous wireless.helpfull, nice, freindly and polite staff. the location was good near shopping mall, metro stations and moskova river. but room doesnt have such a pleasent view. Recommend it
"Great hotel out of city centre"
Visiting Moscow for business, I was recommended to find a hotel that was reasonably close to where I needed to be to avoid Moscow traffic mayhem. Still, I wanted to have easy access to the city for some sightseeing and have a nice hotel to complement my visit. I was very lucky to find that combination in this hotel. It's a bit expensive, but I'm not sure if that's just typical for Moscow or the area. Don't expect over the top luxury! The hotel is located next to a big shopping mall and a metro station, which is very practical. Ubers can get you into the city easily from here as well but you'd miss out on the splendour that is the Moscow Metro. The hotel itself looks quite new and my room was clean and spacious. The hallways are the only aspect that feels dated for some reason and they seem to go on forever. Someone should have designed this better. The hotel serves a breakfast buffet but for a light meal it is quite expensive so you might want to consider the shopping centre next door. There is also a small bar area that serves drinks until late to end your day. Service was quick and most of the staff spoke English quite well. Pay close attention to your bill: any extra expenses were accurately charged but not presented in a way that allowed me to check them easily. The hotel also features a gym which looked a bit sparse for the size of the hotel, but it served its purpose. Don't be alarmed by the security at the entrace. You'll find this in many more places around Moscow. All in all a great stay and somewhere I consider coming back to as long as the rates stay within budget.
"Nice rooms but missing soul"
Nice rooms, clean Hotel and friendly staff. I would next time try a different Hotel as the Hotel has no Soul.. The pricing is fair and with taxti you only Need 30 min to reach the City Center (costs aprox. 5-15 Euro by uber)
"Excellent hotel for sight seeing in Moscow"
I have been several times in this hotel. The rooms are a bit small for a Novotel but good and recently renovated. The best part of this hotel is that it is laying above one of the underground stations so getting to the metro is no problem. It is a double station one of the ring stations Mendelevskaja and Novoslobodskaje. I think the metro system is very simple in use. It is a 40 minutes walk to the kremlin for those who like walking and 10 with the metro. Also busses are stopping practically at the entrance of the hotel. There are supermarkets, restaurants tea rooms and cafes plentifull in the neighbourhood.
