"Convenient way to visit Vienna"
We had a "three" bed suite - two singles in one room and a sofa-bed in the second. Both mattresses were skimpy, making for hard sleeping. The bed was low to the ground. Each room had its own television, although there was only one remote. The rooms were separated by a wall with two openings and only one could be closed off with a door. The closets had very nice motion lights. I loved that the toilet was in a separate room from the shower & bathtub. Absolutely magnificent shower with good water pressure. Generously sized bathtub. We had a lovely balcony overlooking the courtyard, but soon found out that the courtyard & balconies were there for smokers so we had to close the door/windows. The room was quiet, safe, & clean. It was nice to have a kitchionette. The shower had good pressure. There was an elevator, with access to the parking garage below. The entrance to the parking garage was very narrow & steep. One person ran all amenities - front desk, bar, running up to make up our sofa bed - the guy we had was amazing & professional, but it was interesting to watch him juggle so much. There were a couple restaurants close by (none in the hotel). Short walk to the bus (across from Belvedere Palace) and then just a few stops to the center of Vienna.
Had been there for the first time for a company training. Trainig room was on the fifth floor but toilets on ground level so better plan your technical breaks. The staff still has to learn but was friendly and really tried to offer a very good service. They also have a garage. Lunch we had in a separate restaurant because we were the only group there.
This hotel is wonderfully located for Belvedere Palace and also quite close to the tram line that can take you around town. Our room was spacious, clean, large closet, and had a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is gorgeous. The hotel staff was always very friendly. There is a small cafe directly across the street (warning - it allows smoking inside and it is small) where you can sit outside and enjoy breakfast (really good) or a drink. Our room overlooked the inner courtyard which proved to be a little noisy in the afternoon because of a daycare across the way. There are some really good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel (see my reviews).
"Nice location for weekend get-away"
We stayed 3 days in the "Attache Suite". For a couple, it was rather good. The room was fairly large and modern, with a sitting area, two TVs, a large bathtub and a shower. There was a fridge and free WiFi. The location was OK, about 3 minutes from a tram stop, so getting there from the Karlsplatz station takes under 10 minutes in total. There are also U-Bahn (U1 line) and an S-Bahn stations within 10 minutes of walk. There are about 3 restaraunts in the area, one called Sperl is a block away and was rather good. Belvedere park is in 5 minutes. There were a few details that could be improved: - The "double bed" was not a double bed, but rather two beds and two mattresses put together. Very out of place with everything else in the suite. - Water pressure in shower was low, faucets needed maintenance. - TV had no music channels - WiFi mostly worked for YouTube, but could be improved.
"Worst hotel "
We were sent to this place from another hotel as there was problem within their reservations , we were sent here supposedly we were upgraded , check in was fine we were given two rooms together rooms were decent and clean the first day . It had breakfast included , overall they had good choices but when I was getting coffee from Coffee machine , lady came to me and rather than helping me asked my room number which I politely gave it to her but I was quite embarrassing as she was not asking anyone else the room numbers . I sat with my family and had breakfast . I have travelled extensively all over United States and Europe but I did not feel welcome at this breakfast place . Next morning we left rooms around at 930 am came back , came back at 5 PM , our rooms were not made no body came to our suits , I called the front desk he did not apologize but claimed that they have been busy , so that is why house keeping could not clean my rooms . He promised he will send someone , no one came after one hour , I called again , he told me he had sent someone apparently to another room ,I asked for manager on duty , he refused to give me any information and stated manager will not be in until Monday . Some finally came after two hours to clean my room but really did a bad job , did not leave any toiletries . I would not recommend this hotel to anyone , lack of customer service , no manager on duty , very poor breakfast and rude staff .
