We loved staying at palais Sebban. The riad is beautifully decorated and rooms are lovely. We have been to marrakech before but easy to arrange a transfer from the airport in order to get your bearings . Easy to walk to el jamaa and the souks. Breakfast was a good selection of pastries , cooked breakfast and greasy orange juice. Lots of beautiful areas in the riad to sit and great rooftop. We will look to stay there afdin
We stayed here for 4 nights at the beginning of our trip. It was all that we expected. Very tranquil amid the outside world! Breakfast was good, although we did have to ask for cutlery, crockery, etc. All staff were friendly and attentive. Good location for the Souk, etc.
I couldn't of chosen a more tranquil place. I adored every moment of my stay. The staff were fabulous and made my friend and I extremely welcome. The riad's interior and exterior are superb. On arrival we were offered Moroccan mint tea, a delicious selection of pastries and a complimentary 30min massage it was the perfect start to our holiday. I didn't want to leave. When I visit Marrakech again I shall be staying at the Palais Sebban.
"Hidden gem minutes away from the madness of Marrakesh"
We stayed at the Palais Sebban from 13th October for 3 nights, we were attracted to the stunning authentic architecture of this traditional Moroccan Riad but could only afford a basic double room (even though the suites looked stunning) On arrival we were knocked out with the sublime beauty of the place and greeted with mint teat and Moroccan pastries during check in. Our room was Menzah and when we arrived I thought there had been a mistake as it was so beautiful I couldn’t believe this was the basic double we had booked. Our bedroom was lovely with a massive comfortable king sized bed with en suite bathroom, robes and complimentary toiletries were provided which added to the luxury. We had a large sitting area with sofas around the television and a table and chairs, all the decor was traditional authentic Moroccan which was fabulous. Outside we had a private roof terrace with a table and chairs, sun loungers and a shaded area with armchairs, the view down into the Riad from the roof was amazing showing the plunge pool and dining area. Our room rate included breakfast which was nice with plenty of choice including pastries, cereals, eggs, yogurt fruit, choice of breads cheese, meats and ample choices of teas and coffee as well as gorgeous freshly squeezed orange juice. All served with a smile by the staff. We enjoyed a Hammam and massage during our stay which I would highly recommend, steam room followed by a good scrub with black soap followed by clay and then an oil massage my skin was soft as a babies after it. The only fault I could find was the food menu was poorly translated into English so we couldn’t understand what was on offer from the menu and ended up eating out on an evening. Th3 Riad is minutes walk from the main square and is ideally situated for a stay in Marrakesh, the hotel organised our transfer from the airport to the Riad which was ideal, the taxi driver (Jamal) also kindly took my husbands to a dentist after breaking a tooth and acted as translator which was very kind and much appreciated. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Palais Sebban and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone, we hope to return there again in the future.
"Beautiful Riad in the thick of it"
We stayed four nights at the Riad Palais Sebban and absolutely loved it. It is located within walking distance of the markets and most of the tourist destinations of the old medina and is a real oasis once inside. The building itself dates to the C16th with beautiful tiled floors, walls and ceilings to give it that authentic Riad feel. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is quite good too. There is a large sun terrace on top of the building which was very quiet when we stayed, where you can sun bathe or relax in the shade. The room was a decent size and had everything we needed. Definitely would stay here next time and there will be a next time in Marrakech it is a real adventure.
