We took a chance and booked just the one night, and wished we had stayed for two.. Beautiful, well appointed hotel with newly set up rooms (we booked a junior suite quite high up in the resort so used the hotel buggy service to get us to and from the main lobby/restaurant area). Some repair work/renovation under way but it didn't disturb us. Restaurant, well above average both for dinner and for breakfast. Would strongly recommend.
"Outstanding experience "
Outstanding. I Have no words to describe the beauty of this place. Rooms were great and super comfy. Spa area is fantastic as well. Calm peace and harmony here. Good cusine and friendly staff. Just look at the pictures of the resort and imagine 5 times better than you see on it. Hope we can come again. Great tours available in the area. I am still not sure what is Thailand but if you haven't seen this sort of beauty the picture will not be complete. This is for sure. Cheers
Huge hotel with amazing views and decent food .rooms are huge and clean .because area of this hotel is very high up in the hills of chiang mai , the hotel provides golf buggy taxi service to and from your room to any part of the complex .only downside is its an hour out of chiang mai and although there is a shuttle service , its not very frequent .if you want the night bazaars then its the 4pm shuttle in (5pm arrival to city),then the only bus back is 10pm.on the whole amazing
"Picturesque and Peaceful"
Decided to take the missus for a short break and chose to stay here. Was not disappointment. There were a couple of room types and decided on the mountain sky room which was located on the second floor which had some great views of the valley. The check in was smooth and a wonderful complimentary drink given to guests. The room itself was decorated tastefully and very clean. I was worried that gaps in the windows and door would invite the mosquitos and my thoughts were further compounded when I saw the mosquito diffuser in the room but during the night it was very pleasant. The breakfast was pretty good with a buffet style menu with various types of cuisines. The swimming pool was great - good size and clean. All in all a great short break
"A beautiful retreat from the city"
We visited Thailand many times, and visited many different cities too, so this time when we thought about the family vacation to Thailand, we wanted to go to a new place, and have some relax time for thai food and spa and peace, this place has scored all of these points. We managed to get a big discount for a family villa for 7 night stay from a popular booking website. It was great to have a jacuzzi on the terrace and a steam room at the lower floor - it's a two level villa with no internal connection, you need to walk out of the villa to get to the different level. This is not so convenient if you have younger children, but fine with a family with grown up / teenager children. We had so many likings of this resort: friendly staff, nice food and thai massage, beautiful environment, majestic looking of the pool and meditation area...our two children loved the activity area for table tennis and pool game, and the paid cooking class too. If you are fit and love some exercise, you could try to walk up and down the hill within the resort to reach all different places everyday. They do provide the golf car to the guests to go everywhere within the resort, in addition to a free shuttle to the Chiangmai night bazar, with fixed time schedule for departure and return - the journey takes one hour. Staff there might not understand completely the English sometimes, but there is generally no problem to get anything you request as they are cheerful and helpful. All in all, it was a wonderful stay!
