Just came back from our trip to Rome. This hotel was great. Unfortunely we did not have time to enjoy the spa. Room was always clean. The staff was kind but could smile a bit more. We enjoyed the breakfasts alot. The pool was without water.
"Most Elegant in Roma"
This is a most beautiful hotel and we spent our last days of our trip here. Old world charm and wonderful staff...food and service. I hope to return to this place. It was to cool for the pool but we did lounge out there one of our days. We also enjoyed the Borghese Gardens across the street. Beautiful park and also the zoo is right there as well. The only thing wrong with it is location....It is far and away from St Peters and the other tourist areas....A great walk down into Rome.... I couldn’t even imagine how it would be to walk back. We will return one day. The staff was very warm and accommodating toward us.....wonderful breakfast that was included...Loved this beautiful place!
"Conference in Hotel"
The hotel is beautiful, especially the Spa. But there is an issue with staff in general, especially the waiters. We had a conference launch dinner that was horrible, unprofessional staff, very low quality of food and bad service. Never expected such service from 5 star hotel. Also rooms did not have coffee/tea in the room, and no iron available. Had to buy one myself from Rome shops.
"Most amazing hotel and staff "
My husband and I just stayed at this hotel for 3 nights prior to a Mediterranean cruise. Upon arrival, we were swept off our feet to relaxation and comfort from a long 14 hour flight. We were greeted with respect from all staff who were eager to help! The first evening before bed, we decided to try out the indoor pools. AMAZING AMAZING. Have never in my life seen a indoor pool like that with other healing pools surrounding the main pool. They serve you warm ginger water and share with you what each pool does for your body. This is was made our first night perfect for jet lag. They also have a calming relaxing room at the spa with recliners. The room was wonderful and the bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get up! We were upgraded and didn’t even know! So nice :) The only challenge we had was figuring out the outlets/plugs. Seems like there was only one area to charge devices. Oh and there is a beautiful zoo right next door walking distance and the park is great! We walked around the park and saw lots of people walking their dogs (I love dogs!) the spa has a work out gym that is large, however honestly, get outside and walk around the villa borghese Park/estate! Great for walking and running! We did have one mishap as we left our small backpack in a taxi that brought us back to the hotel, the staff called the cab companies for us, however have not been able to recover our backpack :( Thank you to the staff, bartenders, spa guy (Angelo), front desk, bell man with cape, laundry gal who ironed our clothes!!! , and everyone else there at the hotel! Special thanks to Cosimo who took extra care of us!
"Comfortable but expensive"
Stayed for a week for business conference plus a few days of relaxing. Room spacious. Small desk not convenient for spreading papers. Good wifi. Outdoor pool very pleasant. Water is not heated. So it was refreshing in October! Breakfast buffet very good. Staff at front desk and breakfast room friendly, helpful and spoke good English. Staff in the bar were slow and seemed not to care. Location great for Borghese Gardens and zoo but a bit of a walk to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona. I think we had about 12,000 steps on our Fitbits!
