We were surprised by the hallway carpet, which made us wondering if we were staying in a $800/night Park Hyatt or a $50 motel. Not just the area near our room, the entire hallway was like that, and it was CHRISTMAS. I just cannot believe it.
"Trying again tasting menu with matching wine "
It must be my fifth time to this restaurant. Always difficult to book a table next to the window. Don't forget next to windows is easier to enjoy a splendid view of opera house especially in the evening. Book in advance. Try their full course tasting menu plus matching wine. Small portions for tasting with 4 or 7 courses to be chosen. Suggest to choose 7 courses as the portions are really small. Do not forget to go out via a side door in the Dining Room entrance spend a few minutes in the terrace to take some photos
"Park Hyatt Sydney"
Absolutely perfect. Service and quality standards at every level from the moment you enter exceed even the highest of exprctations. Impossible to fault from quality of long term staff, to room, to food. Simply amazing and like no other.
"wow city hotel"
perfection, staff room and location, everything is fantastic. the first city hotel that ticks everything I want/need. Rooms are very spacious. The staff cares so much, they smile and re willing to help. The products in the bathroom (le labo) are great too
We stayed here for just two nights in early August 2016 (I apologize for the year late review). I don't think I could probably add much more than previous reviews. Stunning property. Great concierge. Our room was lovely and the view of the Opera House was picturesque. Superior location. I mean, it's a Park Hyatt so you kind of know what you are getting into - professional service, customer service oriented, beautiful spaces. It is very much a city hotel with tourists and business people so if you are wanting a "resort" feel, this isn't for you. But we can't imagine having stayed anywhere else. This has nothing to do with the hotel itself and may be only for New South Wales, but they have some kooky liquor laws. Just be aware if you are a martini or rocks drinker ;-)
