"Quiet and Peaceful stay"
I had a 7 nights stay in this hotel and it was the most peaceful place stayed so far in Manchester. Its about 15min walk from the buzz of the town centre and its a very peaceful one for me. The Internet connects fine and Okay, The view from my room 252 was not great though, so, you might want a different number line for a view of the main road/city centre view. I had arrived to see my room with 2 single beds but the receptionist was happy to arrange it to be tidied and zipped up to make one nice double bed, with that, I wasn't able to fall off. lol. The Swimming pool/gym area was decent though small but well equipped. The breakfast was great, nice hot meal was available and the ladies at the breakfast were super friendly, bright smiles and happy to share a few jokes/words with you which helps starts your day great. Over all a great stay for me and will come again when in Manchester.
"Premium quality feel"
A welcome greeting when I checked in. Room was large and had all the essentials. Very clean and modern decor. Relaxing nights sleep and no noise from outside traffic or adjacent rooms. Wide choice of breakfast options with a relaxing informal atmosphere. Very enjoyable stay and will definitely look to use again
"not a hotel to radisson standards"
Totally average Not up to radisson standards room 138 1st night then 132 second night. we switched off the Air conditioning for the night. it then made a noise all night long, in both rooms. maybe it doesn't like to be switched off at night!!! the food was totally average, really nothing to write home about at all in a hotel this size, No alcohol free beer !! '/ Why'' Staff, as always, were really helpful What will happen to hotels after Brexit'' The experience was was average only Not staying there again
"Good hotel "
Great hotel, stayed here twice for work now. Big rooms, quiet, mostly good shower rooms... Had a slightly old bath tub last time. Lovely pool, sauna and steam room. Small gym, functional but old kit. Comfy beds. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Location good for access, and close to Manchester Arena.
"Not really satisfactory for a Radisson"
Stayed here for two nights last week to go to a gig and do some Christmas shopping. Room was clean and modern. No bath but I'm a shower person anyway and it was hot and spacious. It's really near to the Arena so perfect for that and as others have said parking is at the arena but there is a small drop-off area at the hotel front. We had problems with the safe door sticking and couldn't get it open on return from gig which was annoying. Maintenance came next morning and said hinges had dropped and so needed fixing. It remained this way during our stay and we couldn't use it for fear of being unable to get stuff out. Another issue was that we came back at 4.30pm having been out all day and our room had not been serviced at all. We then had to wait an hour to get fresh towels and refreshments replaced. We told them not to bother doing the bed as it would take even longer. Also, we discovered our room door had a problem and did not close properly but we made sure we pulled it really tight before leaving. We also tried banging it but that didn't work and probably annoyed next door! On returning from the gym (which was nice and well-equipped with helpful staff) on the morning we were leaving I was able to just push the door open so it was obvious that housekeeping had been in to see if we'd checked out. I was not happy about that given the safe issues as they had left our room exposed. All these issues were reported and reception staff were apologetic but really this is not good enough. Breakfast was fine, all the usual stuff except the eggs were poor. Scrambled eggs were wet and anaemic looking and boiled eggs very hard. There are lots of hotels in Manchester and I think I won't be back. The room was 319 so avoid unless issues have been fixed.
