"Worst hotel ever"
Definitely not 5star, second time I visited this hotel, people are blatantly lying to you, everything in the rooms are not working, I booked the place for me and my family, specifically stating I have a 2 year old daughter and the four out I was booked alone and are the placed on the 11th floor, the fridge and windows didn't work, the balcony was never cleaned, house keeping only cleaned late during the day, i phone to get a price ad was given a special price by theGM of nearly R 400 more than on booking.com.then i had to pay extra for breakfast( again not what was quoted) and so the list goes on and on.
No cutlery or crockery in self catering apartment, except a dirty knife in the back of the cupboard. We were given a room overlooking a construction sight... If you are sharing a room with someone, ensure that you are very comfortable with them as the bedroom leads straight on to the loo with clear glass doors. We were also disappointed with the outrageous price of a breakfast. We left a day early and there was no attempt to rectify the situation and no reimbursement.
"Home away from Home"
This being my second time Cape Town but first at the Pepperclub Hotel i felt welcomed and everyday was filled with wonderful memories. The staff is so professional and will assistant with a smile. But what stood out for me most was Lucille at the front desk. She made want to come to hotel over and over again. She addressed all my needs and was very helpful in everyway possible. She represented the "Pepperclub brand exceptionally well" and provided me with a 5star treatment. Even when checking out i felt adding more days due to the wonderful memories.
"Nice place, but a bit disappointing."
Initially did live up to the 5* billing, nice lounge and really good breakfast services. However, the room on 15th floor had sound seeping in from a nearby club at night, coupled with the experience of a locked/jammed door (faulty access system) left a bad taste. The reception staff support/service almost rescued the situation (kudos to them). However, the experience was sub-optimal and should not have happened in a 5* hotel. Hopefully, others have a better experience.
"Great Hotel for Travel and CT City Life Engagement"
I really do enjoy this Hotel and have had many stays here. Breakfasts are always Great and so is dinner. If you want a less noisy Room due to the activity of Long Street and Surrounds you would need to request this.
