Location

Set on a cliff-top position with a privileged view of the sea, the bay of Funchal and the mountains, the Pestana Carlton Madeira is extremely well located. On the way to the centre of Funchal (a 10 minute walk), stroll down the Avenue Infante with its lovely Jacaranda trees and walk through the Santa Catarina Park, a spectacular botanical garden with some of the best views over Funchal and the sea. Once in town, more gardens, commercial centres, museums, restaurants and charming side-walk cafés in its cobblestone streets await you.
