"Peace, comfort and elegance"
Well hidden next to the city center and walking distance to Sunday night market, this lovely boutique hotel offers all the traveller needs to enjoy a moment of rest & relaxation in style. Besides the elegant decoration inspired from the early 1900's, guests can enjoy relaxing time by the pool and very good service. The airport pick-up in a 1960's collection car added a final touch of elegance to a memorable stay.
"welcome to elegance"
first of all, I want to say a huge thank you for all staff at the hotel for looking after us very well. This hotel really make me proud of Chiang mai. As a person who was born and grew up here, I miss Chiang Mai in the old day and finally I found it here. There is no dout in terms of architecture and interior design, Ping nakara has nailed it. This is a property that has a class of its own and yet elegant and charming. Staff are friendly, helpful and pay attention to details. They could remember our room number throughout our stay and recognize us after we came back for a day. An extra service in the hotel that we love was the rickshaw. Hotel staff was so lovely to take us around in a nearby places. We enjoyed the experience in this hotel very much. The room was also beautiful and has a lovely balcony. In the morning, I could smell some kind of flower from my room balcony. It was a sensational stay ever in Chaing Mai. I can.t wait to return to the elegance again.
"Terrific stay at Ping Nakara"
We had a great 5-night stay at Ping Nakara. The hotel is lovely, tastefully decorated, immaculately tended, comfortable and peaceful. The pool area, with its surrounding patio and sitting area, is very comfortable and atmospheric. The staff were warm and helpful without exception. The restaurant was really good; the dinners we had there were terrific, although the breakfast was uneven (avoid the pancakes). The spa was lovely and treatments were very good. This hotel is a great escape, an oasis in an active, noisy city. If you want peace, comfort and attention, this is the place for you.
"a little gem"
i stayed here for two nights with my friend. like all the details in the design and facility of this little gem. the staff are very professional and friendly. the kitchen is hidden and small but they offer much more than any franchise big five star hotel can offer and everything is freshly made and delicious, from thai green curry to a literally cheesy french toast. I spent the whole day by the pool, reading, and taking a million photos, for everywhere i see, it's a beautiful shot, sunny or rainy. the room is well designed, and the bath room is elegant, and what I love most is their woodwork, the floor and the stairs are vintage and sleek. I definitely would want to come back again and again, even though there seems to be a million other options in Chinamai.
"We love that it always smells like lemons"
We recently spent two wonderful nights at the Ping Nakara. All the staff are welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. We loved the library and the veranda. The pool gets the sun in the morning and unlike at other hotels, is not ridiculously shallow. The food is delicious and there's plenty to chose from at breakfast. The beds are so comfortable and you have a choice of pillows. Plus there's a free snacks which are replenished daily. There's a good selection of movies on offer. The hotel is always clean and has great housekeeping. Anusarn night market is a short walk away and worth a visit or two. Even though it feels like a lot of effort went into making this hotel special, I still think it is a little overpriced. Nevertheless, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
