"Charming boutique hotel"
We stayed here for only 2 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel is beautifully done up in colonial style with lovely and thoughtful touches like free ice cold water by the pool terrace, a well-stocked library and loads of free local snacks and non-alcoholic drinks in our room's minibar. All the staff were very friendly but I would like to give a shout to the restaurant staff who gave faultless service, even the trainee who couldn't speak much English. It was also nice to have a nightly turndown service. Food at the restaurant was very good and besides the lunch we ate there on our first day, it was nice to have breakfast included with our room. Breakfast was a good combination of a la carte dishes to choose from local and western choices and there were other buffet items for guests to enjoy as well. Excellent location despite being less than 10 mins walk from the night market. The swimming pool was a lovely place to chillax and unwind after a long hot day of walking around exploring the old city. Would definitely love to return.
"Lovely and Cozy"
My friend and I enjoyed our stay at Ping Nakara. The facilities are lovely and picturesque, and the staff are helpful and friendly. We feel that we got good value for our money. Thank you to the staff!
Our 3 night stay at this beautiful hotel was perfect. The staff are lovely and the room was superb. The breakfast was great as it was nice to be able to order the main off the menu and have something different each day. There was also a buffet for all the usual cereal, toast, fruit etc. The pool is great although the mosquitoes were bad around 5pm so bring insect repellent! The position was very close to the night bazaar and restaurants - just 5 min. walk. Be sure to stay at the Ping Nakara - you wont be disappointed.
"Classy, detailed and clean."
Well if you appreciate class, detail and a little bit of history this is your place. The design Of the hotel is colonial. The rooms are just beautiful. The hotel itself has a library with information on historic and modern day Chiang Mai. Food quality is high, which you will come to appreciate as you explore other locations.
