"Top notch customer experience"
Staff went out of their way to enhance a great stay. The host of the conference was amazing - helping to ensure I got the food I needed (special diet). The front desk staff made my colleague's experience wonderful by accommodating a minor (and fun) request I had to leave her a welcome note! Fitness center the best I've ever experienced in any hotel - simply amazing. Nice work, Radisson!
"Great Hotel / Mediocre Restaurant"
The rooms and their amenities are excellent. Beautiful furnishings and comfortable beds. I was disappointed in their restaurant - Filini. Poor service, food and value. I would stay here again - just wouldn't eat at the restaurant.
Overall was not a pleasant experience. The stuff is cold business oriented, treats you like a business transaction not like a guest. Room was not clean, and nobody showed up to clean my room. When I call to ask for services nobody apologized
"Unique hotel with modern urban edge"
Sleek, modern and amenity oriented. This hotel is great for the business traveler. Higher to Moderate pricing for downtown Chicago.Centrally situated with helpful and available staff. No hotel parking, which can be expensive.
"Wonderful, not a typical Radisson"
Just returned from a long weekend at this hotel and loved it. First, I think US travelers are put off by the fact the hotel is a Radisson. Most Radisson hotels in the US are dated, dingy, and far from luxurious. However, the Radisson Blu is trendy, clean, luxurious and packed full of amenities. We stayed here because it is one of the few hotels that has an outdoor pool. The pool and pool deck are spacious and a great place to cool off after a day of walking, or you can spend an entire day just relaxing. The lobby is a great place to do some work, or enjoy a drink. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Our room wasn't massive, but it was a perfect size for 2 adults. The room was very well appointed, had a great style, and comfortable beds. The pillows were a little soft, but I'm seeing this more and more in hotels. The bathroom was large, and had a huge shower. Our room was quiet, comfortable, and had a great view. The hotel is close to everything, but there are few places to eat right outside your door. It is about 5-10 minute walk to lots of restaurants. Also, Lyft/Uber had some problems finding or dropping off here since roads run under the hotel. That is not the fault of the hotel, but worth pointing out. Again, if you are looking for a fun, friendly, nice place to stay in a city with lots of great hotels, give this place a try.
