Great experience. Friendly and great Concierge!Comment of H. Nadim , Lebanon the 2016-10-31
To be honest I am very happy to stay at this hotel, it's just a service hotel that can not provide a solution, I stay at this hotel recommended from my friend in gaziantep, indeed very good location close to the river. when I checked in, I got a view facing the neighboring wall not the slightest river view, I try to email request to given the river view, the hotel was moved my room, but the park view, I wrote email again and complained why I didnt get river view, i explain if I stay in accor group as a gold member, i can get upgrade, i just ask for river view. they offer a member carlson, and Therefore you have right to upgrade your room to full bosphorus view automatically so I understand very well with the rules, but if it cant offer river view just gave explanation, after that I checked out and sent an email to apologize my complaint was no reply, I have missed the goods in hotel when check out, I tried to email back but no reply too, but lucky stuff I stil there in the room
Great location, perfect service, nice rooms... the view from the window it’s perfect... amnesties well taken care of... Angelique is closed by and get bit noisy in the night this is the only problem to avoid is planning an early sleep

"This can't be a 5 star hotel"
I rarely post public reviews but this experience hit a nerve. First of all the rooms could use some renovation/modernization because they're rather dated and worn out (even Sultanahmet area old hotels are way better). Bathtub is dirty and slippery (seriously slippery, be careful). Towels were not clean although we didn't rush to check in. Shower's water pressure is low and temperature is irregular and annoying. Water itself is yellowish, definitely not clean (put some in a bottle to see yourself). Service is okay, not rude, not superb. But definitely not international premium hotel level. It is situated in a busy area so expect traffic/noise but also bus stops and convenient stores are just by the doorstep. Bottom line: stayed 3 nights, regretted it. The only thing they offer is proximity to Bosphorus bridge (if you managed to get an unobstructed view of it). Otherwise don't book. Overpriced sub-par hotel.
I stayed at the lovely hotel for 2 nights. The reception staff were lovely, and very helpful. I stayed in a junior suite with a fantastic view overlooking the Bosphorous. the room was roomy and a corner with large windows, big screen TV roomy bathroom and a nespresso machine. there wasn't an ipod to play music or charge your phone unfortunately. the club next door can be noisy at night although the windows do block out any noise from their restaurant downstairs. The bed was extremely comfortable! Slippers and a robe were also available in the room.
