"2-Night Pre-River Cruise Stay"
I took a Uniworld 10 day Highlights of Eastern Europe cruise on the Danube from Bucharest to Budapest. The Radisson Blu is the hotel the cruise line booked for passengers. We spent 2 nights here before being transported to Giurgiu where we boarded the ship. The Radisson Blu is a modern hotel and seemed to cater to foreign tourists and European business travelers. My room was a decent size, what you would expect in the downtown area of a major city. I appreciated that it included a room safe for my money, credit cards, and passport. The bathroom shower was a bit unique, with the shower head directly overhead and a half size glass panel to prevent water from going out of the tub (or not). A fabulous breakfast buffet was included with our rooms, and contained anything and everything you could possibly want. I especially enjoyed the poppy seed hard rolls I ate both mornings with salami and cheese, along with an eggplant salad that reminded me somewhat of baba ganoush. I had a complimentary drink coupon, so the 2nd night I opted to have an early dinner at the Bla Lounge Bar in the lobby. I ordered veal schnitzel, which came with an unusual but tasty potato salad consisting of boiled potatoes, sliced dill pickle, and sliced red onion tossed with a white wine vinaigrette. A small green salad was also included. The reason I gave this hotel a Very Good as opposed to Excellent rating is that it didn't contain a gift or sundry shop where guests could buy souvenirs or last minute toiletry items they may have forgotten. I wanted to send postcards, but when I asked at the desk if there was someplace nearly I could purchase some, I was told there was nothing within walking distance. One of the things I observed in most of the countries we visited on the cruise is that they're still trying to get their bearings as far as tourist services and amenities, and this was borne out in Bucharest. If I were to visit Bucharest again on my own, I would definitely consider staying at this hotel.
Loved staying here! The lobby is contemporary and just stunning. We were greeted with a big smile and the check-in process was friendly and efficient. The rooms are gorgeous and the entire property is pristine. The staff are very accommodating and extremely willing to help you in any way possible. Everyone we came in contact with gave us the feeling that they really cared and wanted to ensure that we were happy with our stay. Needless to say, we will be back.

"Radisson Blu - the Best 5 star hotel in Bucharest"
Radisson Blu hotel is the best place to stay while in Bucharest. From the beginning of your stay until departure, you will be amazed. The hotel itself is a piece of art with an impressive atrium up to the 8th floor colored with blue lights. Quick and friendly check in and check out, thank you front office for your kindness and attentiveness. Rooms are spacious, neat and tidy, very well equipped gym (world class), 3 restaurants and opening soon of the Ginger Sushi bar & lounge and 2 bars: Pool bar seasonal and Bla Lounge. What actually makes a difference, is the staff which is the HEART of this hotel. I would like to THANK YOU ALL for taking good care of me during my stay here. For sure, we will see you again soon! All the best! V.
"Best Hotel in town"
Very nice moments at Radisson Hotel. For Business it is a great place to be. All services, Animation in the Lobby anytime. You can have a drink, at nice lobby bar. At Lounge Bar 8 Floor, service is amazing with special Thanks to Marius. Very nice view and atmosphère. Even I found the hotel too much crowded and noisy in Week end, with very different leisure customers. I highly recommand the Hotel for business. Best in Town
