"A clean, comfortable hotel, ideal for exploring Liverpool"
Although the room-rate was a little pricier than I might have expected, and in particular, as it didn't include breakfast, this was a really nice hotel, that constituted an ideal based for exploring Liverpool. The room was generously-proportioned, with a huge bed, and a view over the River Mersey. The bathroom was also excellent, and equipped with a power shower. The staff were friendly and responsive. For example, when we requested additional tea-bags, they were delivered to our room in next to no time. The location of the hotel in relation to the waterfront is convenient, but it is not far from any of the main attractions in Liverpool City Centre. A hotel to be recommended.
"Clean but dated"
Booked a superior room and got a “free upgrade” to business class. Was expecting a bit of luxury considering this should cost over £600 for two nights, but was quite disappointed. The room was very clean, but a little dated and worn. The bathroom had some damaged tiles and grout missing. The fridge didn’t work and the tv reception very poor with digital interference. We made use of the spa facilities twice which again were clean and nice but requiring a little TLC. Mosaic tiles were missing in the steam room and jacuzzi. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable. Staff were polite and helpful with recommendations of places to visit, drink and dine in when we checked in; However they didn’t even ask how our stay had been when we checked out which is pretty basic customer service. Good location for exploring the city.
"Short business trip"
Great welcome and front of house service. Great room and ample breakfast. A very relaxing stay with plenty of facilities. At no point did I feel unwelcome and everyone operated efficiently and professionally.
"Great Location, parking and service. Excellent pricing 9/10"
Some of the reviews I have read seem wide of the mark. The staff are all extremely helpful and friendly - its Liverpool, of course they are, everyone is. Rooms are dated and could do with some refurbishment, but at the price we paid for our two nights we simply cannot complain. Location, parking and access are way beyond expected. Definite recommendation and yes, I will certainly stop here again in the future.
"Afternoon Tea great afternoon"
Took my mum to Radisson Blu Liverpool for afternoon tea at the weekend. Great experience overall and definitely worth a visit. The service, relaxed atmosphere, quality of the food and drinks amongst other things all made her day. Would definitely recommend and would return.
