Stayed here for one night with a friend. Hotel was good and in a good location. Staff were friendly. We did not have breakfast just room only so cannot comment. The room had air conditioning but I do like to open a window but unfortunately this was not possible. Easy to check in and out and they kept our bags so we were able to explore the City.
"Good location for weekend visit"
Good location, clean room in need of some maintenance. Welcoming staff, lovely breakfast. One complaint we were locked out of our room dead on 12 noon (we went to fetch our cases at 12.05 after a walk). Involved going down to reception and back up - not a problem but tell guests this is going to happen - annoying...
"my mid week stay"
We booked a five day break room only with this hotel as we have stayed in Radisson Blu before and always enjoyed our stay. This hotel is close to all amenities, city centre and water front. Our room was on the second floor and had views of the river, the rooms are lovely with comfortable beds and a good sized bathroom, our request for extra pillows was dealt with quickly, although I had to go to reception for this as the help number on the phone was constantly engaged. The fridge in the room was not switched on and it was very dusty down the sides of it, why' Unfortunately our stay was marred by the fact that our room was not serviced for two days in a row, one I can understand but surely a note should have been made to ensure that it was serviced the following day!! I made a complaint and the duty manager gave me a discount. Also car parking at the NCP car park is advertised on the website and on the reception desks and that there is an reduced rate for this, whe I enquired about this I was told that they had been given any free tickets so there fore it was not available!! Overall I did not receive the usual standard of service that I would expect from this hotel chain and I hope my next visit is better .
The reception was very polite and gave us a map to see where things are in the city. We were disappointed because we were given a twin room but had asked for a double, then needed to change rooms, ended up higher up and had no wifi. Apart from that the bed was comfortable the spa is small but adequate our. Real in general was very good, recommend Liverpool for a city break.
"Great midweek stay"
We decided to have a couple of nights away in Liverpool, and we chose the Radisson Blu due to its close proximity to the city centre bars and restaurants, alongside its gym and health club facilities. We were checked in quickly and easily and were offered a special upgrade to a business room for only £15 per night. This was a great move, as we then got a room with a fab view over the Mersey, a Nespresso machine in our room, plus super fluffy bathrobes. Breakfast was also included with our upgrade. Our room was large, comfortable and spotlessly clean, the bed was absolutely huge with lovely fluffy pillows, we both had perfect sleep on both nights! The gym was well equipped and had everything we needed to continue our training whilst we were away, plus there was a really nice pool and sauna which were really relaxing. Breakfast was also really tasty with English and continental options. We'd definitely be back if we're ever in Liverpool again.
