of TripAdvisor Travelers recommend this hotel
stayed here week commencing 20/8/17 from checking in to checking out the service from the reception staff was impeccable the taxi from the airport costs 30.00 euro and is about 25 minute drive which is so worth it to get the holiday going, i ate in both the retaurant and the terrazza and cannot fault the excellent food we recieved, the bar staff and waiters were fantastic couldn't do enough to make you stay there as faultless as possible and its location in the centre of Madrid with great museums and great shopping totally love the hotel and will be back again, thank you Radisson blu madrid for a great holiday.
"Relaxing and quite location "
Stayed 1 night whilst traveling across Spain, the hotel is perfectly located right in the centre of the city, we managed to get around on foot easily. Parking is limited, but we managed to park on a side street. The rooms are well equipped and very clean, breakfast was pretty standard and unfortunately not the best I've seen offered at a Radisson. We didn't have enough time to use the Spa, but it looked amazing, I would 100% recommend the hotel and will almost certainly return.
"Holiday in Madrid"
We found the hotel was in a perfect location for walks out and getting about the old district. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we found the cleanliness off the hotel was spotless. Can't wait to go back.
"Excellent hotel in the heart of Madrid"
Stayed at this hotel twice during a two week period. Overall this hotel is excellent, however it has some minor faults. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is excellent, walking distance from most of the Madrid sights. There is however no free parking, a spot round the corner is available for €20. There were three of us in the room, two adults and a toddler. We had requested a cot which the hotel duly provided, however as the rooms are small, the cot (which was also small - too small for our child) took up a lot of space. The other negative is that the air con doesn't work at night, something which you can ask the reception to fix. They really shouldn't turn it off, as the duvet is pretty heavy thus leading to a hot night. We stayed in a standard room and then in a business room. The difference between the two is the view and that breakfast is included in the price. Overall rooms are nice, just small. Breakfast is good and the hotel restaurant, the cask, has a nice selection of alcohol but is expensive. Breakfast starts at 06:30 - something you may wish to consider if you wake up early (almost all other places open at 08:00 at the earliest). The gym was being renovated as therefore wasn't available during my stay.
"Perfect City Break Hotel "
I just stayed at the Radisson for a long weekend as part of a group of 5 girls. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to the centre as well as Retiro Park and Atocha metro station. The room was lovely and very clean, the small spa pool is very relaxing and the staff at reception were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the lady who was there everyday could not have been more helpful and even made up tray of breakfast for our friend when she was unwell in the room. There is no hot food menu but they will make anything you ask for. A wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel for the perfect city break.
