"A business trip to Shanghai"
I booked this hotel this time for 2 nights with couple of friends for a business trip. The staff are extraordinary helpful and friendly. The location is just perfect for us! Only 5 min walk from the West railway station from which we took a train to Suzhou. You can feel that the hotel is not the brand new (especially you feel it at bathroom), but the service is perfect, rooms are nice with comfortable beds, breakfast is delicious. It was short stay but very well-worthed to stay more.
"Friendly and good quality hotel"
The friendly staff at the hotel made me feels very welcome to the hotel. The room with fast free internet connection was commodious, clean and comfortable. There was good service in restaurants especially in the lounge on 27th floor. The location of the hotel is not the best, but it takes only 20 minutes by taxi or subway to downtown. Also nice attraction Zhenru Buddhism temple locates only 15-20 walk from the hotel.
"Worth To Stay R.B.H.Shanghai, Hong Quan"
My Stay Was 4 Days Long At This Hotel, Overall Experience Was Good To Stay Here, I Was On A Business Trip In Shanghai. Rooms & Bathroom & Common Area Was Quite Clean And Maintained, Lobby Is Worth To Sit, On Main Taopu Road, Easy To Catch Taxi Or Public Vehicle Even Near To Metro Station (Walking Distance). Room Was Cleaned Everyday, Towel And Bed Sheet Changed Without Special Request. I Got Good Indian Food During Entire Stay Which Was Cooked Tastefully By An Indian Cook Named "Badal", Thanks "Badal" For Making Such Tasty Food Where Every Food Outlet Was Full With Chinese Food. Nice Swimming Pool And Gym Having Spa Center As Well. Room Service Staff Lack Understanding Of English. Overall Good Stay, Can Recommend To Reader Of This Review. Rooms was said to be equipped with Wi-Fi but I was unable to Connect. No Google, Gmail and Facebook Allowed in China.
"A good choice for Shanghai; reservations were a bit tricky"
I returned to Shanghai last month and again stayed at this hotel since it was close to a friend's apartment. As I commented in my previous review, the location is good as a base for travel within China since it is a thirty minute taxi ride from the Hongqiao airport and train stations. I like the rooms in this hotel and the neighborhood offers a Carrefour store (useful for stocking up before travel) and a small restaurant with Shanghai specialities like Xiaolongpao/dumplings. The hotel breakfast buffet is good and offers varied options. Checkin was challenging. I made the first reservation through Carlson and for some reason I had two different kinds of rooms booked for two night's stay. I'm not sure how that happened. The hotel staff gave me an upgrade to a splendid suite for which I was grateful. On our return from three weeks of travel, my friend booked me a room through Ctrip. Somehow a double booking had been made (although only one booking had been guaranteed with a credit card), and to further complicate matters my name was misspelled in both. It took some effort to sort this out, but finally I was given a very nice room and the concierge was kind enough to treat us to a pot of tea in their lounge while I waited for the airport taxi the next day. I do think that the staff here makes an effort. Someone at reception suggested contacting their hotel directly to book rooms and I think that I will do so in the future. I recommend the hotel and if I return to Shanghai expect to stay here again.
"Sumerise our visit"
Wonderful hotel with friendly staff, clean and quiet rooms with all amenities. There choice and selection for breakfast was amazing as it cateered for western and Asia cuisine, very close to shops, train station, food outlets, shopping centre, only downfall was no internet in room😏 Otherwise a place to stay. 👍🏻
