"Superb location right next to Train Station & Arlanda Express"
Google map did not work and i asked 3 people before i could reach the hotel. However the hotel was actually located right next to the Central Train Station! It was located in a superb location. Check-in was fast and fuss-free. Room size was decent and comfortable. As it was next to the train station, it was easy to move around. Many mini-marts and a big supermarket could be found in the train station. There was also BK and Mac. There is a tourist info. counter in the train station also. But the service provided is cold there. I travelled with the Stockholm Pass. It takes about 10-15 min walk to the City Hall to take the jetty for the Drottningholm Palace Boat Tour. It takes abt 5 min to get opposite for the Hop on/off Bus. It takes abt 20-25min walk to the jetty for the Under the Harbour Boat Tour.
My first impression of this hotel was not good: a huge queue for check-in. It took me about 15 minutes before I was checked in, which is not a great start. I noticed big queues at the reception desks at other points in my stay as well, so I don't think this was a one-off bit of bad luck. I then discovered that, despite the claim on the hotel website that it has a swimming pool, the pool was in fact closed for refurbishment. Would it really have killed them to have put that information on their website' I could have packed my running kit instead of my swimming kit if I'd known. My bedroom looked OK on a first glance, but in fact turned out to be incredibly poorly designed. I can only assume they hired a hotel room designer who has never ever stayed in a hotel bedroom. The wardrobe had only a tiny amount of hanging space. I was there by myself for just 2 nights and was really bumping up against the limits of what would fit. If you're sharing a room between 2 people and are there for a few nights, then best not take any clothes that need to be on hangers, as there won't be room for them. There were no drawers at all. If you are happy just to live out of your suitcase, it's fine, but if you want to unpack when you arrive, you'll be sorely disappointed. But other than the lack of unpacking options, the room was fine. The bathroom had a nice shower as well as a bath. One of the lifts was out of order when I arrived. There was a sign saying it would be fixed as soon as possible. The sign was still there when I left 2 days later. Breakfast was good. The hot buffet was disappointing, but there was a nice cold buffet with nice Scandinavian stuff like pickled herrings with dill sauce, which was lovely. If you wanted fried eggs, they cooked them to order, which I always think is nicer than having them lying around. I'm not sure what to think about value for money. If I'd paid this much for a hotel of this standard in most European cities I'd feel I'd been massively ripped off, but I realise Stockholm is more expensive than most European cities, so maybe it's nothing out of the ordinary for Stockholm. The location is great if you're arriving by train or by air, as it's right next to the train station. If you arrive at Arlanda airport, an express train will take you there.

"Good location, good rooms"
So convenient next to the station (no need for taxi from the airport), and easy walk to Sergels Torg, Gamla Stan. Junior suite was a good option for us with a teenager. The extra bed was a proper bed and plenty big enough. Buffet breakfast was varied and generous, although pay attention to guidance on notice in the lift about times - it is very busy and hard to get a table at peak time. At least they are very efficient about clearing tables as people leave. Didn't go to the bar on the top floor, but plenty of people were going there. Bar on ground floor also very busy. We stayed Fri & Sat nights, so probably caught them at their busiest. Didn't try fish restaurant attached to hotel, plenty of other locations around for eating choices. Handy coffee shop and 7-eleven right next door. Would stay again & recommend to friends.
"Nice hotel and friendly staff"
Been to this hotel several times and each time my stay passed smoothly. Smiling and helpful staff willing to assist me whenether I print out my tickets or I forget my belongings in the bar. Speaking of bar, I highly recommend The Fisk bar and their wonderful salad with shrimps, egg and avocado. Always order this salad, very tasty and nutritious. I also had a dinner at the restaurant and was delighted with the ambience and upscale serving: the waiter was very helpful in wine recommendations. A massive thank you to Anastasia Andersson for making me feel so welcome! My friend and I had another wonderful stay!
