Clean room excellent breakfast, well worth the price, great variety, high quality. Stayed in the business level room with two small children, had enough space for all of us. Tried all three restaurants, all were good. Not much around the hotel, no stores or restaurants in walking distance, but close to the metro station.
"Display screen to inform exact position of the lifts is a unique idea."
The hotel has a skyline view of the central Copenhagen. The Hotel is one of the tallest building in the City with its 24 floors. To get a better view from the window in your room you must choose rooms with even numbers and preferably at higher floors. There is a monitor display at the lobby lift entry that informs of the exact location of each lift so that you know in advance which lift door is going to open next – good idea. Rooms are good, nothing great about them; but the bath tubs are tricky; you need to be careful while getting in or out of it. Electronically monitored mini bar refrigerators are now kind of a norm; even if you store any of your personal items; it will send a signal to accounts software and might bill you for the item that gets disturbed from its original position. The hotel is at a walking distance from city centre; at best cycling distance. Cycles can be easily hired from the hotel or shops around the city. Hotel also has a Casino at the ground floor. The breakfast. spread was decent with a good variety of bread, Cheese and bread spreads.
"Stay after a cruise"
Great value and a good location. Quiet and clean. Just wish it was a little more centrally located to downtown area as traveling with a senior citizen with mobility issues made it a little bit more difficult to walk to places
I've switched to the Radisson chain from IHG after being offered a status match to my IHG Spire Elite. This Copenhagen hotel is a pleasant, if busy, establishment, well situated for a good stroll into the old city. I was upgraded to a business room which was very good (and the gift was appreciated by my chocoholic wife) and my sleep was uninterrupted to my morning alarm. Breakfast was a myriad of choices and we piled up on yoghurt and bacon (when in Denmark...) with our coffee. I'm still no sure if I prefer Radisson Blu to my usual Crowne Plaza and Intercontinental, but the Scandinavia Riga did it's best to try and convince to make the permanent change.
Excellent breakfast. Radisson Blu as usual, which is good. Rooms clean and quiet, albeit quite small. It is possible to open windows. Helpful staff. Close to the centre and to metro. Easy walk to centre.
