Beautiful Hotel in the centre of Vila Seca - pedestrian part of town very attractive area. Did not have a car but easy walking from train station buses available to visit Cambrils Reus and Salou if desired. Given a wonderful room with outside terrace on the 3rd floor. Needed help from reception and dealt with wonderfully by "Annie" She was superb! Will go again !Comment of S. Christopher, United Kingdom the 2016-09-23
We stayed for 2 nights and loved it. We were greeted by a very helpful and pleasant girl at reception who recommend great restaurants and activities which made our holiday even better. The room was amazing, very clean and bright and the decor beautiful. We loved the shower, very modern. Overall a 5star stay.
"Too expensive for what it offers, definitely not 4 stars"
We booked a room for 4 and the receptionist suggested an apartment for the same price (110 Eur). She only warned us that it was on the 3rd floor without elevator. No big deal, I thought. Then a chain of not so pleasant surprises: the apartment was in an adjacent building with narrow entrance and staircase (pics not included on the hotel's site), cold, small dorm for 2 and two uncomfortable armchair-beds (one even folded at night) and heating through the AC unit (noisy solution), almost no daylight and noise from the street coming in unhampered. The white-washed walls were stained with black marks. Overall, not welcoming; they could improve it, make it more user-friendly: lighting, wall painting.. Clean, however. The next day we moved in the hotel. The room on the 1st floor was rather small, certainly more welcoming than the apartment, the sofa-bed was ok to sleep and the heating was not noisy as it was coming from the central system. The walls were stained (why not put some tapestry or wallpaper to prevent marks from suitcases or shoes - one meter from the ground'). The bathroom was definitely interesting, wanted to be modern (outside mirror and sink, separated WC and shower), but the execution lacked precision: the WC door was not closing properly, so no soundproofing; not recommended for romantic trips. :P Breakfast buffet good, rich, employees nice, easy to reach Tarragona and ok to park outside, for free.
"Excellent tucked away hotel"
A lovely hotel which has one of the best customer service around. Located in quaint streets away from all the hustle and bustle, this hotel is amazing value for money. The rooms are clean and the balcony is large with a sun lounger and table and chairs set. Highly recommended if you are looking for a relaxed and peaceful break.
"Highly recommended - despite some location difficulties"
Not easy to find and situated right in the middle of narrow town streets - but certainly worth the effort. Best advice is to find the hotel, go to the reception and ask for a map and directions to locate their underground car park (charge of €10 for this facility). You then travel back around the streets until you find the roller-shuttered entrance to the car park. It is a bit 'hairy' entering and leaving the car park but we have a large vehicle and managed to get in and out without any scrapes! Hotel is very nice, room and shower room very contemporary, clean and large. Breakfast (buffet style) was included in the price and was truly excellent with a huge variation of dishes available. The restaurant was 'open to the street' via folding glass doors on one side and very pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.
"Lovely modern hotel in older part of town"
The hotel can be a bit tricky to find and has underground parking that is a bit of a challenge to get into ((ery tight turn). Parking costs 10 euros per day. The staff were extremely helpful providing maps of local area and a suggestion for a local restaurant. The room was modern and spacious in keeping with the rest of the hotel.
