"Pleasent stay in Warsaw"
I had a very nice stay in Regent Warsaw Hotel! I can fully recommend. Breakfast buffet has wide range of choice, rooms are clean and comfortable and there is a Holmes Place - well equipped - Gym and Spa in the building free for hotel guests. Although its not located in the Center of the City, but it can be reached easily with public transport or taxi (always available in front of the hotel)
"Double charge ruined my experience"
Actually, my stay was great here, even though I wasn't able to adjust the heater any higher than the preset (I believe it wouldn't go higher than 21ºC). However, several days after my stay, I discovered the hotel double charged me. In addition to charging the corporate credit card, as this was pre-paid, I was double charged for this. Now, I have called the hotel and spoken to Kamila at the Resevations desk, she admitted this was a mistake and said she had to investigate this further and could not process the refund right now, and she would email me back. However, after I asked when she would be able to process the refund, she said she didn't know - could be today, but if not, then next week. Business travel is stressful enough, and I rely on the hotel to be semi-competent so I don't have to deal with double charging my corporate and personal credit cards. I definitely won't be staying here anymore, and don't recommend any business travelers to stay here either, especially if you're looking for a hotel to do one of the most basic things correctly - billing.
The toilet light didn't work in our room however this didn't really bother me too much. What did bother me was the fact I had already pre paid for the room only to be told on check out that i had not paid. As i stay in hotels very frequently i gave over my credit card and paid again assuming this may be correct. Upon discovering i had been changed twice I contacted the hotel by email with no response several times. I then phoned (international phone calls) to confirm and the hotel admitted the mistake and I was assured a refund. I stayed in this hotel at the beginning of November it is now the 11th of January and i have made several phone calls and emails to the hotel and have yet to received my refund although i am told they are working on it. It took less that 30 seconds to charge my credit card however 3 months to be able to refund my card or even email/call my to update me. I guess i may get my refund at some point in the future I really expect better from this standard of hotel.
Any special attention just profesional service. The restaurant service was not very professional with the wine taste. The foos was excelent. for the next time I expect more attention and faster service on reception desk for chek in
"Luxury and Service"
2 day business trip was rescued by a comfortable hotel with all the accoutrements to make the stay enjoyable. Rooms were spacious and excellently appointed; I particularly liked the fact that I could hear the TV whilst soaking in the bath. Location isn't ideal for the old town, but if you are sufficiently brave, you can easily take a taxi to any of Warsaw's attractions. I didn't use the restaurant other than for breakfast, however if this is anything to go by, the signs are very positive. Relaxing bar area with an excellent selections of drinks on offer all wrapped up with professional and attentive service. Highly recommend!
