"Excellent location. Street facing rooms very noisy"
The location of this hotel is perfect. It is bang in the middle of the old town and a stones throw from hundreds of restaurants, bars etc. The other side of this though is that our street facing room was pretty disturbed until about 6am. If you plan to party to 6am then it would be perfect. The staff were extremely helpful with ordering taxis. The breakfast was fine
"Great location, great service"
Stayed there 2 nights in June 2017. Great location. Allows you complete access to the madness of the Old Town but also allows you to stay away from the noise and lunacy when you so desire. Service is great. All the people we dealt with were super helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have what one needs. Not for those who expect a modern hotel, though. We (my wife & I) would happily stay gain.
"Nice stay, probably not the hotel's best room"
The hotel is conveniently located close to many restaurants. I think we got the rooms with the worst location in the hotel. The room was close to the front desk so you could hear the staff talking, coughing etc. The view from the room wasn't that great. The room itself was pretty good with a safe and fridge. Nice shower in the bathroom. The breakfast was ok but not more. We would probably rated the hotel with a 4 if we had received a better room.
I stayed at Rembrandt Hotel at the end of June for 2 nights and I really enjoyed. The hotel located at the center of old town, The room was clear and tidy. I really recommend you this hotel. The staff was so sweet. You can be contact with them with an English. All staff knows English.
"Fair Price for a Decent Place"
This is a decent place, right in the old town section. The price was reasonable. We were up high, room 52. It was a large room, two sets of windows for cross breeze (one facing roof tops, one the interior air shaft), two single beds, clean room, fair amenities in the bathroom. There was a hot water maker and instant coffee/tea provided. The shower is one of those kind in a bathtub with the class wall half way across, so when you shower you will for 100% sure spray the floor with water. (We just put towels down and got more.) One (small, Romanian) roll of TP provided, we had to go fetch up more. A well placed plug (one, two if you pull the lamp) right above the desk. Fast WiFi. There was a techno concert on the rooftop next door, the double paned windows did a decent job of cutting the very loud thumping noise down to a whisper until they quit. The rest of the time the noise level was really low (except for the drunk English kids sodding about yelling and blowing whistles at 3:00) and we slept with the windows open. They printed our boarding passes, and the airport shuttle is a deal at 900RON. You get 10% off drinks and food downstairs which makes it a convenient place to buy a bottle of wine. LAUNDRY: fifteen minutes walk to the FourWood Laundry. Google it. Open 8-8 M-F, and 8-6 Sat. It cost us less than $8 (32RON) to do a huge bag of wash, have it dried, soap included. And the lady there even folded it for us. We were prepared to do our own. We sat in the cafe around the corner and drank wine and read.
