"Very nice hotel and location"
This hotel is very nice and cozy. We stayed here for 3 nights. The room was really nice and clean. The location was perfect. Close the shops, restaurant and so on. Me and me girlfriend went out all days and saw the city. I really like Hamburg and this area of Hamburg. One thing I didn't like about the hotel is that you have to pay for Wi-Fi. I think it's lie 9€ a day, if you want Wi-Fi in your room. Also they did not have any parking spots left, so they sent us for one of the parking houses. They didn't tell us that one of the three parking houses is actually half price. So I think this is a good thing to know, if your bring your car. The parking house is called Deutsch-Japanisches Zentrum and is like 4 minutes walk from the hotel. I can't remember the price for a 24 hours, but I know this is the cheapest one.
Stayed just one night while visiting Minatur Wunderland. I could not be more positive about this hotel, I would give it ten stars if that were possible. Central Location, just 5 minutes walk from Jungfernsteig station where the trains from the airport stop. Lots of shops around, very quiet area even for city centre though. Rooms are huge, with desk, sofa, 42" TV and a bed you could comfortably sleep 10 people in. Huge walk in shower in a modern well appointed bathroom. In room food fantastic, very good value breakfast. Customer service is perfect, reception understood my dodgy German and dealt with me in perfect English. My first stay in a Renaissance Hotel. I will be back
"Great hotel & perfect base for exploring Hamburg"
Perfect location for exploring the city. As always with hotels managed by Marriott, the services were at the highest level. I have been upgraded to an excellent, spacious and well appointed "superior" room, which had everything that you expected for, including a refreshing rain shower in the bathroom. Delicious beakfast with a huge variety of food and beverages and great cocktails at the Bricks bar. Thanks to Michelle C. for taking care of all my preferences.
"1st Class Hotel"
From Check in to check out this was a wonderful Hotel. Located in central Hamburg it was close to most Tourist attractions and shopping areas. The staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. We ate in the hotel restaurant for our 2 evening stay and he food was very good, well served and reasonably priced. Breakfast was equally as good with the largest selection I have ever seen. The room was very comfortable and on the floor that I had requested due to issues with heights. To sum a great Hotel that was up to expectations.
"Feeling home away from home"
As we have spent a few times earlier in a Renaissance hotel in other countries, we feel definitely at home in the Renaissance Hamburg. It is very well located in the city center with all kinds of shops and restaurants around. We are very happy that we were able to check-in very early in the morning. First we got a room which was a little too small for two persons, but as soon as a larger room was available the staff at the Front Office were kind to assist us with the new room. The room has good space both in the sleeping area as in the bathroom, and the bed was as superb as we are used to! When we had diner in the restaurant we were assisted twice by a very kind person. His name is Tobias and he really made a difference as we felt very comfortable by his mentality of true hospitality. We had some dietary requests and Tobias never gave us the feeling that we asked too much. Instead he came up with good ideas to assist us, which shows a good example of being a host.
