"Nice event space and room"
Had an event here and we stayed here this year so that we could stay after the awards dinner. Good space with plenty of room for us to mingle out on the 5th floor deck while our dinner space was prepared. We had plenty of space and two bars, but the bars were very limited with their options and could not take cards, which was a pain to learn after waiting in line. We ended up instead going to the lobby bar, getting a full selection of alcohol, and paying by card before coming back to the event. Once our dinner started, things were smoothly run by staff. The room itself was great and we scored a $25 upgrade to a suite as they did not have any other king bed rooms available at the time. The suite was newly renovated and had an excellent layout to create a living room and a separate bedroom without having a full wall. Big bathroom that was oddly decorated in wall paper that made the walls looked scuffed or stained even while new. If was very nice to have the room as a staging area. Very helpful staff that helped me identify a breakdown in my rewards number registration from a cost question about the internet access, so I have to give big props for that.
"Customer service personified "
Got to Renaissance after a long flight from Melbourne/ Los Angeles, I was tired. Couldn’t get into my room straight away as it was soooo busy (apparently a football game and a Harry Styles concert created the havoc) The waiting around didn’t go unnoticed by the staff who went out of their way to make me comfortable while waiting. This customer service continued from house keeping, breakfast staff, bar staff to the front desk, the like I don’t believe I’ve seen before. The rooms are 4 star and clean, the food is great. The staff are exceptional. Well done Renaissance.
"Great stay for a convention"
My company held a convention there for 3 days and there were about 450 of us. The main lobby is vast and beautiful with plenty of spots to sit and work or enjoy a cup of coffee. Starbucks on site is also a huge plus! The bar on the main floor also was a nice place to stop after a long day - before retiring to bed. My room was nice and clean, air conditioner cold, tv nice size and bed crisp and clean. Shower and hair dryer and towels were all great. Would definitely stay here again.
Incredible gracious accommodating staff who turned a terrible situation on my part into a memorable experience. They went far beyond their job description and I can't them enough! Lovely large room though ask for a room away from street with clubs. I open windows and it got pretty noisy. Otherwise I speak more highly of all staff from doormen to lounge and huge kudos to registration staff.
"Nice Large Convention Hotel"
Immaculately clean and large convention hotel. Pluses: great staff, nice sized rooms and bathrooms, comfortable beds, Starbucks and a good restaurant right in the hotel. Very nice fitness room. Small splash pool (not suitable for laps). Good towels and Aveda bath products. Downside: very large and somewhat nondescript although recently freshened up rooms and common areas. They also put me in a room directly by the pool, despite being a Marriott Rewards member with status.
