"Nice business hotel in downtown Sao Paulo"
The hotel had a good gym, comfortable rooms with plenty of work space and a decent bar plus was located in a convenient location to visit the balance of the city (we were there for store and team visits). Service was generally prompt and friendly but watch out that the bar which tends to wrap up pretty early at night. Restaurant was solid but not extraordinary. Generally, a nice refuge when visiting Sao Paulo to rest up and relax.
"Best Lounge on Marriott and Great for Working, HH, Relaxing or anything else you need!"
This is my home away from home, but I have to add something! The F&B (Food and Beverage) team here is just AWESOME. The Bar has lost a few of its Stars (good luck CAIO) but there are plenty of starts there! Tracy (Stacey), Ruana, Arturo, Anderson & the Godfather of the Gang Igor.... you guys Rock! And then we have the Lounge! WOW... this is the best lounge I have seen so far on Marriott properties.. and I know a few. Best HH Best Breakfast Best Lunch Break Best Expresso Machine BEST TEAM: Lucia, Margareth, Ana, Tom e Luciano are just the BEST! Thank you, guys!
"Very good hotel"
I stayed in the Renaissance Hotel between 11 and 12.06.2017 in a business trip, room 1716. The staff in the whole hotel are well prepared and efficient. The areas including the room are clean and they have good options in the lobby to meetings with clients. Sometimes only the music is a little bit loud. They also have a very good fitness center. The space in the room was enough and the quality of sleep was perfect. What caught my special attention was the quality and variety of the food not only during the breakfast but also the food served in the room during the dinner. Very taste. Recommend for business purpose.
"Decent, but poor lighting"
The hotel is quite decent, and service was very good. Three things that bothered me: 1. Very loud, you can hear every door slam next door, above, and below you. 2, Extremely poor lighting in the bathroom 3. Hotel bar and lobby staff is a bit too comfy with the hookers in the bar Other than that the hotel is good, and the executive lounge was actually excellent. Even with the 3 negatives, I would not hesitate to consider them again on next month's trip.
"Great big hotel in City Centre"
Stayed here for a few days after staying at the Marriott Exec Apartments and this was a very positive step up in terms of quality, location and general features. The hotel is situated on top of one of the hills in the city with tons of great restaurants and bars in safe walking distance. The hotel itself is very big, great big lobby, splendid bar area at lobby level, big and quite modern gym. Restaurant at the hotel is absolutely ok but plenty of better venues within easy walking from the hotel. Rooms are good sized, bathrooms are also large, modern decor, good space to work from and the whole feeling is very modern. Try to get access to the Exec lounge if you can. It's great, very large, superb service, good food and drinks and spectacular views over SP. A great hotel and I would be very happy to stay here again.
