This is a good choice to stay! Great place and conveniently located. Close to the Boston Common and Copley Place; there is a legal sea food restaurant right across the street. Rooms have a very good size and service is excellent!
My wife and I recently stayed in Boston at the Revere and could not have been happier. The rooms are beautifully decorated, and have so much space! . The bed was the best we have ever slept in, it just was so relaxing after a busy day. Location was fantastic, just a few minute walk to Boston Common and made for a great relaxing area. The staff were really helpful and friendly. This will definitely be our stop next time in Boston.
"Do not even THINK of staying there!"
Way too much money for what it is worth. Location is nice but hotel is cold, unpersonal, nothing special to it. Services are seldom available (bar). Breakfast is very basic and in a dark remote small room. Cherry on the cake. The day of departure, elevators, supposingly being in the process of being "modernized", were literally impossible to take, overcrowded by the guests wanting to check out. The result: 40 minute wait and finally went down 14 floors using the stairs with 3 pieces of luggage. A joke! After complaining I got 20$ off a 900 $ bill! No comment!
"Short stay at this hotel"
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights as part of a longer trip organised by Great Rail Journeys UK. We had stayed at three other hotels in Canada and two other hotels in the US. The Revere hotel room was comfortable and well equipped. Some slight problems on arrival as my female friend & I had been allocated a room with a double bed which was not what we had asked for. However it was quickly changed to a twin bedded room. On our last night we were locked out of our room due to problems with the key but this was soon sorted out. We have experienced key problems in the past at other hotels and do not find this system very reliable.
"Broken lifts spoiled it"
Two of the four lifts are broken. We were here 5 days and they were still not fixed. Imagine being on the 20th floor and having to wait 5-10 mins to get up or down, 'every single time'. Or stopping on every floor on the way up or down. No fridge in the room' Spoiled a reasonable stay.
