The hotel is located in the peaceful Playa Paraíso area on the Costa Adeje coast in southern Tenerife with unbeatable views over the Atlantic Ocean and direct access to a small sandy beach. Reina Sofia international airport is just 25 km from the hotel.
"Love this place. "
Well as you can see from an earlier post, I said I would be back and well here I am back. You can see from the previous post how I ended up back here. No idea why I didn't book here in the first place. Super staff Super clean Great resort Will be back for a third time
"Amazing hotel, worth every penny!!"
Me and my partner stayed a week mid June. Nice warm welcome, we got there late in the evening and were offered food in the restaurant. The staff are so happy and welcoming made our stay very enjoyable and the best holiday we have ever been on. My boyfriend proposed on the beach in the evening which made our stay even more memorable. The reviews and pictures don't do this hotel justice, if you want beautiful views, clean facilities and wonderful food, this place is the place to be. Thank you roca nivaria, we will be back. Special mention to Jesus the waiter he made us laugh and remembered our room Number and drinks every time. Best tip- must try the honey rum it's beautiful Xx
"I've been there 3 times, still want more !"
Excellent restaurant, clean pools , very comfortable rooms, first class SPA, qualified and friendly staff. Suitable garage. Senior managers constantly control all processes. Quick and adequate reaction to any question. Thank you!
"Lovely Hotel, Exceptionally Clean, Brilliant Staff and Amazing Food. "
Stayed at the Roca Nivaria for 10 nights at the beginning of June. Fantastic holiday. •Staff were really helpful and polite and quickly remembered who you were and your room number. •Food was amazing. Great selection of food at the buffet restaurant and liked the idea of a smoking section and a non smoking section. The Spanish and Italian restaurants served some beautiful food! Lunch by the pool was also a nice touch. •Ordered room service for breakfast one morning and although it was a bit overpriced for what it was, it was lovely. •The 2 pools were great. Really liked the idea of the heated infinity pool. •Plenty of sun beds at any time of the day which was a huge bonus for us as we didn't have to rush or struggle to find a sun bed. Loved the orange sun bed covers they provided with the towels as they hooked over your sun bed so didn't blow off or fall down. Nice and peaceful round the pools, even with the amount of people there. •Our room was on the ground floor with a terrace and it was perfect. We had the sun on the terrace all day but the room stayed nice and cool. Barely had the air con on. Would suggest more lighting in the room as it was a bit dark in the evenings. It was kept exceptionally clean which was like the rest of the hotel. •Location of the hotel was perfect. About 20mins in a taxi from Playa de Las Americas and Los Cristianos which was perfect if you wanted a busier night out but then it was nice to come away to the peaceful backdrop of the hotel. Disappointed with a couple of things: •The dress code for men at evening meal was long trousers and smart dress. Was disappointed to find some people coming to evening meal in football shirts and tracksuit bottoms and they were allowed in, yet when we arrived at the hotel at 9:30pm (with evening meal finishing at 10pm) my partner was asked to change into long trousers from his tailored shorts. We understood this was the dress code, but was surprised that people were allowed in wearing football shirts and we weren't allowed to go in for a quick bite to eat, without getting changed, after travelling all day. •Our last 3 days by the pool were slightly ruined by building work which was going off next to the pool area. We were told about the spa not being in use whilst being there which wasn't a problem at all, but the building work by the pool was very loud. They were banging and drilling stone and it wasn't a relaxing environment. I spoke to the public relations lady, who didn't seem to think it was much of an issue and she just said that they'd be finished by 4pm (which they weren't) and that it was to go on for 3 days. It wouldn't have been so bad if we had been informed of the works before they started just so we expected it, but our last 3 days were tarnished by the works noise. Overall I would say that it maybe isn't a UK 5* standard hotel but it was a wonderful stay and we would look to stay again in the future.
"Great family hotel"
We stayed in the half term break. Wasn't overly busy, well there was enough space so we didn't notice if it was overly busy. Would definitely return. Had done Sensatori a few years previously and found the place relatively soulless by comparison. Roca Nivaria if you want a relaxing, all invlusive trip is a splendid choice. The buffet has more than enough options on a daily basis, in fact, I would go as far to say the specialist reataurants aren't worth the bother. The main upper pool is is a salt water, warm pool that is only about 5ft 8 ish in depth. It has a jacuzzi alongside it, as well as a kids pool. The bar and restaurant is right next to the pool so there is scope for the kids to be in the pool why you enjoy a drink poolside, with easy access to them. The entertainment in the evening is varied, and sufficient for a young family. If your kids are teenage in years then you could argue the resort doesn't off enough. However, my family alongside some that we met at resort with similar infant/early junior in terms of school years had a superb time.
