"End of 6 week holiday"
My fiancé and I spent 6 weeks travelling around Europe and Mykonos was the last stop. Right from the arrival at the airport Rocabella treated us like royalty. We didn't have a transfer booked but a driver from the hotel collecting another couple offered to take us also. On arrival the staff welcomed us with a drink and took us through the 'must do's'. We were pleasantly upgraded to a Junior Suite with Jacuzzi. The room was amazing and the bed was the best we had experienced all throughout Europe. It's about a 40 minute walk from the township or a 10Euro taxi. Everything there from the pools, breakfast and views were 5 star. Highly recommend!!!
"Excellent amenities, friendly staff and great location"
Rocabella rocks! We had a great experience right from the moment we stepped into the hotel. Lots of attention to detail, great amenities, excellent staff plus the shuttle to the downtown was a great bonus. The breakfast buffet was superb too - with the friendly staff bringing in an additional specially prepared dish right to the table. Didnt get to spend time in the spa, but the swimming pool and the views were great.
"One "honeymoon" week in the Rocabella hotel in late season (mid of october)."
Fantastic facilities (including pool and fitness room)! Alan and his team did everything to make our stay unforgettable. Very nice room, always perfectly cleaned with great view on the sea. Very good breakfast and breakfast service. Reeza restaurant has also to be recommended - modern Greek cuisine - excellent! We definitely try to come back soon.
"Wonderful Staff Makes this Hotel a Great Option"
We are frequent travellers and have been to various hotels in a number of countries in Europe and elsewhere. Here is our quick summary of what we appreciated about our stay at this hotel. 1. The first plus, the hotel looked after our transfer from the port to the hotel so we were immediately greeted upon arrival on the island. 2. The welcome champagne and presentation was helpful and gave us an immediate lay of the land. 3. The restaurant was excellent, both for breakfast as well as supper. We tried several dishes and found the food to be amazing and presentation was wonderful. The house wines were great selections. 4. The hotel staff was very helpful and always willing to lend a hand. The service was very personal and most of the staff knew us by name. 5. The transportation to and from the old town was hourly and very efficient. Drivers were exceptionally friendly and helpful. 6. The turndown service was a nice touch. 7. The cleaning service was in and out of the room while we were at breakfast and this was very efficient without any inconvenience. 8. The shampoo and cosmetic products in the room were great. We would recommend a few things although it must be said these are minor and really did not seriously detract from our overall experience. We would still highly recommend this hotel. 1. Given that we were at the hotel at the end of October, the restaurant closed for the season while we were there. Breakfast was still provided, but supper service was discontinued during the middle of our stay. This was not terrible in that there were other options in Mykonos and transport was convenient. What was a bother was that while laying out by the pool, one could no longer order a refreshment because the pool bar closed along with the restaurant. 2. In our room, the bed was a mattress on the floor and although the mattress itself was very comfortable, we found it a bit challenging to climb in and out of bed. It felt a little like camping. If you have mobility issues this would be a problem and I would recommend asking the hotel if there are other options in other rooms that would accommodate a particular mobility issue. In summary, we still rate this hotel very highly. mostly because the staff here was so helpful, very fluent in English, hard working, very accommodating, incredibly efficient and just a lot of fun to get to know.
A hotel that takes great pride in looking after its clientele. Arriving at Mykonos airport to be greeted by George, 10 minutes to hotel, champagne on check in, up to room with a view, luggage waiting for you. You are litterly lifted and led. If you want to go into town arrange a time and George takes you, inform them when you want to come back and they pick you up. All staff from reception to housekeeping are very helpful. Breakfast excellent and they also have a great restaurant as well. Could go on and on just book it and see for yourself, a must have destination.
