Room Mate Leo is located in Calle Mesones, in the heart of Granada’s commercial area: this pedestrian street is just 300 metres from the cathedral and the main monuments.
The famous and charming Albaicín district is 10-minute walk from Room Mate Leo and very close to the Plaza Bib-Rambla, where you will find several bars and cafés. Calle Navas street with typical tapas bars is also very close to the hotel.
The buses leaving to the Alhambra and Granada Airport stop 400 metre away.
Un buen hotel, bien situado y con un trato excelente. Os lo recomiendo si vistáis Granada.Comment of S. Juan Manuel , Spain the 2015-10-22
"Terrific, with good ideas!"
What this place may lack in "space", it makes up for in nice features. Excellent location, nice breakfast spread and area, rooftop patio with great vista, for example. But the best idea of all is the walk-around hot spot they provided! No searching for wifi to do all the things that wifi lets you do. I can't say if ALL Room Mate locations do this, but it is an argument to find out! I should add that the staff is top shelf.
I highly recommend this hotel. The location is ideal.. on a pedestrian street. The taxis drop you off about a block away. The staff speak excellent English. The breakfast is great. Close to bus stops.
"Small but lovely hotel, great location!"
This is a small hotel, the rooms are not so large but they don't feel crammed and there are nice little touches everywhere that make you smile. Staff are friendly, breakfast room is small and there are not many things to choose from but all are fresh and tasty. We were a large group and everyone loved it but I think this hotel is especially perfect for smaller groups, couples etc.
I knew we had made the right choice of accommodation even before we arrived. Prior to our arrival, William at the hotel sorted out our sightseeing trip to the Alhambra (book well in advance or you will be disappointed! Months rather than weeks) And on asking for directions to the hotel via the airport bus, we were given clear instructions which were easy to follow. The staff really could not be faulted. My husband & I stayed 4 nights. We received a warm welcome on arrival. Our room was on the second floor and was spotlessly clean & very well appointed with everything you could need & if you did need anything else, a note told you to just ask. Whilst the space around the bed was very tight(!) due to the enormous size of the bed, the rest of the room was adequately spacious. The comfort of the bed more than made up for the space it took up. Our room was at the front and we had a balcony which was nice to stand on for a few minutes & take in the bustle of the street below. When the balcony door was closed we couldn't hear any outside noise so not sure I can agree with other comments about the room being noisy. In any event, the hotel is in the middle of a city! We opted for breakfast which was plentiful & varied and served between 7.30am-12.00 which suits all preferences. The hotel was perfectly situated right in the centre for walking distance to all the sights. Bars & restaurants in abundance near the hotel. Overall we were very pleased with our choice of hotel & would have no hesitation in returning or recommending it.
"Visit to Granada"
The hotel did not disappoint. Did not need to pack any toiletries...all were supplied bar sunblock. Centrally located in a not too big city-population about 300,000. Bathroom a bit small and the carpet did not feel too nice underfoot. However I would thoroughly recommend this hotel at the price. Little touches like shoeshine and sweets etc. add to it's attraction. Lobby could a bit bigger.
