"Best Hotel ... Luxury ... Quality... Customer service"
Unfortunately i will stay only for 2 nights which is not enough to stay this short in this Luxury great hotel, always the best customer service first will let you to like the place .. i will defiantly stay again in my second visit to Bangkok because i felt like im staying at home ❤️
The Shangri la hotel is in a great location close to the sky train and river taxis 5min walk, you can get to most tourist attractions easily. The rooms are very comfortable and some have a view of the Chao Praya river. The rooms are well equiped with amenaties. The restaurant which we ate at was the Salathip which serves authentic Thai food. A lovely touch were the Thai dancers who performed in the restaurant. If you book the Horizon club room you can have breakfast, evening cocktails and canapés on the 24th floor with a fantastic view of the river. Also available afternoon coffee, soft drinks and tea. We love to stay at this hotel when in Bangkok.
"Great location! "
The location of the hotel is great. It’s right next to the river ferry service station as well as the sky train. There’s also a lot of things in walking distance. The staff at the hotel were great - very courteous and helpful. We stayed in the Krungthep wing and had our own balcony which was lovely. However, I only gave 4 stars because I thought the hotel was a bit dated and not up to the typical Shangri-la standard of luxury having stayed at other Shangri-la hotels in the past.

I enjoyed every minute of my stay at Shangri la Bangkok, excellent and curtious staff continuously striving for excellence in serving the customer. Very pleasant and beautiful atmosphere, with a sense of security. Excellent food choice, extremely clean environment. Above all the the staff made me feel at home. Thank you.
"Another great stay"
This is probably our 5th stay at the shangri-la in the krungthep wing and would recommend it. Whilst the price is quite high, it’s worth it. Staff and service is impeccable. You really feel welcome and looked after. They recognise that we have been before and looked after us. We needed an extra towel in the room and the hairdryer wasn’t working so I called up and within minutes both were rectified. The food and drink for breakfast, afternoon tea and canapés are fantastic and one of the reasons we keep coming back. This is our 5 years olds second visit and he remembers it from 2 years ago and asked to come back. They treated him very well and all made a fuss of him. Hotel is kept very clean. My only downside this time (having been over a period of close to 10 years) is that I noticed that the bathroom in particular is looking very tired and in need of updating. That aside we would and will return.
