"Will stay here again"
Excellent. Rooms were well appointed, and I really liked the fact that they had a separate shower from the bath tub. Location was excellent too; right next to many restaurants in The Rocks and Circular Quay. Service and wifi were fast and great.
The hotel is lovely with polite staff, mostly, and great facilities. However, despite booking a room for 2 adults and 1 child, the room was set up with only 2 king single beds. When I rang downstairs, to say there must be a mistake, I copped an argumentative hotel representative that seemed intent on not fixing things other than saying that we could go to another room but that would cost an additional $300 per night (we were booked for 4 nights, at a total of $2200 already!!!). I declined and asked for a fold out bed to be sent up. Made for a bad start to our stay!!! The only other issue is that there is a large emphasis on the Asian community (not that there is anything wrong with that!) and, as such, English was not first language of the hotel staff, and they found things a bit difficult to understand. All in all, a lovely stay but overpriced considering we were a family of 3 staying in a crowded room with 3 beds.
Came here for 5 nights in a mixture of work and pleasure. Have to say I was expecting a lot more . Not many of the staff spoke English especially at breakfast. We were given a room with two large single beds! Plug in bath not working ironing board not working . Slow to come up and replace and took 4 calls to remind them . Breakfast expensive if it’s not included. Would prefer to eat it out. It’s ok but not that imoresssed , have been to a lot better.
"The best View!"
This was a surprise birthday staycation for my partner and I got us the Executive Grand Harbour room which overlooks the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. The view from the room is absolutely amazing (the same view you see from Blu Bar) and the room is spacious, clean with the most comfortable bed! We even got a surprise birthday cake - thank you for that, he was thrilled. The check in process however wasn't the best. We came in just before 2pm and waited for 15 minutes in line only to find out Our room was not ready - so we decided to go for lunch. We came back at 3pm and the room still wasn't ready, so We were taken to the lounge for coffee while we wait, and finally got our keys at 3.30pm. All in all, it was a great stay and you can't beat the view!
