"Very Nice Stay!"
We stayed here a few nights before our Baltic Cruise and found this Sheraton well located and accommodating. The staff was extremely helpful with recommendations and booking an excursion for us. All in all a very nice stay!
"Room for improvement "
We stayed here for a few nights in lovely Stockholm. The good points were the central location and a nicely sized room which was quiet and good room service. The less impressive elements were a busy and tired looking reception area. The ground floor bar would not have been out of place in a second rate airport. Overall this Hotel lacks charm and style. It is like a second tier business Hotel and over priced but if you are not too bothered about your Hotel or are here just overnight you will be fine. Otherwise there are many better Hotels in central Stockholm to chose from.
"Very nice hotel"
This was a very nice and centrally located hotel in Stockholm with big rooms and good service walking distance from the old town and the palace will for sure come back to stay at this hotel good value for money
"Unbelievable City Convenience"
The location alone earned this hotel a 4th star. Many places are convenient, but the Sheraton Stockholm truly is ideal. A 5 minute walk from the Arlanda Express (most cost effective and reliable means of commuting to and from the airport), and within walking distance of virtually all of Stockholm's major attractions. We stayed 5 days and never took a cab or metro once! The bathrooms have some nice marble finishes which are a cut above the traditional Sheraton experience, and the concierge is friendly and attentive. The club room is being re-done so they are using a conference room as the club lounge for the time being, which yields some additional standing and sitting room in that regard. However, outside of these elements the experience is fairly cookie cutter. Sadly this was my first SPG experience since making Platinum and I was not able to receive a suite upgrade during our trip, which was unfortunate as we were traveling to celebrate my birthday. They did manage to put us in a room with a nice view of old town, which was great to wake up to each morning. Housekeeping seemed to keep a very zany schedule -- some mornings they would be knocking at 8AM and other times at 4:45 in the afternoon. I guess it kept us on our toes! Room finishes outside the bathroom were a little dated and in need of a retouch. Would definitely stay here again if in Stockholm, but mostly because the convenience cannot be beat.
"A little tired, but very good location and friendly, efficient staff."
We stayed here for five nights in the last week of June. Like pretty much all other reviewers, we found the room to be spacious enough, but a little bit tired and in need of a refresh. The location of this hotel is really great. Close enough to walk to all important tourist attractions, but quiet and peaceful at night. We did have an internal courtyard-facing room, which may have assisted with this. The bed was comfortable and there were pillow options available, which we always appreciate. As you'd expect from a Sheraton hotel, the room amenities were good. We paid for a Club/Executive room, but the club was probably one of the worst we've ever experienced. It was very full each evening, even though it had been moved to a larger location for the summer peak - up in the meeting/function room area. Each evening there were two warm canapés on offer, a salad, a cheese plate and some dry nibbles (nuts etc). That was about it. The drinks were very basic too - only the bare minimum. Coupled with the not-for-purpose surrounds, we wouldn't bother paying for this level of room at this hotel again. In fact, on the last two nights we chose to wonder into the old town for pre-dinner drinks, having given up on the 'Club' option. It just wasn't particularly comfortable or enjoyable for us. The breakfast was busy, but of a good standard. The service at breakfast was particularly good, especially considering how busy it was. The staff did a very good job of keeping on top of plate clearing, and providing friendly, attentive personal service in a timely and friendly manner. We also found the staff at front reception and at the tour desk to be very friendly and helpful for our entire stay. Overall, we'd stay here again, but wouldn't bother with an Executive Lounge level room.
