"Best Anniversary Stay "
This hotel is amazing. Annika and Bryan made our anniversary trip the best!! Everything is super clean! All beach staffs are awesome too. Location is perfect! I saw on the Internet; center tower will be closed and turned to condos soon. It's sad to hear that...
"Best Hotel Ever ..."
The Shore Club was excellent in every way. We were assigned a ground floor room for the first night and once we asked for a higher floor we were moved the next morning without any fuss. The breakfast is very very good with a great selection of healthy options, good coffee and overlooking the beautiful pool of course. The staff are amazing .... so attentive and professional, especially the guys around the pool and beach - excellent! We'll definitely go back .... soon I hope
"Beautiful Hotel and Location"
Only a 4 star from me unfortunately stayed here from 7th-13th July. Everyone is prefect including the hotel, room and location just lacks a little finishing touch or class! We reserved late checkout before booking which turned into an issue at the last minute and nearly cost us £100 dollars extra!!
"Party Palace ... not for families."
My family and I booked four nights at the Shore Club taking two rooms. Staff charge $ 42 to valet park the car per day and are permanently there with there hands out for "Tips" ... work for it guys don't simply expect it. There is overnight Public Parking on 16th Street that charges $ 16 for 24 hours period. Five minute walk down Collins Street. Next the rooms - well I should have known something was up when they offer "sex toys" for sale next to the minibar ... This is a party hotel where guests hang-out at nearby nightclubs till two in the morning then come back and have another party making all sorts of noises and stinking out the hotel with the smell of weed. Called security twice and the duty manager ... first they said there was no noise and that the weed smell was their house keepings lemon grass fragrance ... which was not generically used throughout the hotel ... seemingly only on the floor I was on. Right ... er No. Rooms are basic, location is good. Would I swim or let the kids in the pool - No. The beach is 2 minutes walk and is at least sanitary. Food at the hotel ... well its a rip off ... budget $ 30 for two boiled eggs and toast and then add 18% compulsory service tax ... yes its compulsory even when the service is bad. Would I go back ... absolutely not. There are many other choices.
"Work and Fun"
We had a great time. We got first class service from the concierge, the front desk and the valet. Monolo the valet manager was AWESOME. Best valet ive had at a hotel ever. Ive stayed at a lot of miami hotels for work over the years and this one was my favorite. Great views of the water. Cool rooms at a solid price.
