"A very nice and well located hotel"
A very good hotel, very clean, well located near the central bus station to connection with the airport, nice view, and with good breakfast in the first floor restaurant. Rooms are big and clean. A nice mini bar at room with food and drinks at reasonable prices.
The whole experience was pretty good apart from one person who left a bitter taste in my mouth. When we arrived at the hotel on 31st of Dec at 4pm (check in time from 2pm) we were told by a lady that the room is not ready yet and it should be done in an hour - an hour and a half. We left our luggage, came back at 5.30pm to a guy who was extremely rude. When we asked him if the room was ready he said he'd check and went off clicking his computer for 10minutes.. After a while of silence my partner asked "what is happening with our room'" to which the man replied "One moment, we are very busy and I am trying to give you a room". Which left me completely baffled as we had already booked the room so why is he "trying to give" us one as if we just walked in without a reservation' Which was what I said to him. The whole exchange after that was also very unpleasant and rushed and it really left a bitter taste in my mouth. Getting a twin bed (even though weeks ago we requested double bed,but ok you're busy), the mini bar haven't being changed (bottles were open from previous guests) and the bath not being clean really didn't leave an impression of a 4* hotel.
We booked to stay here over Christmas but didn't realise it's in the middle of the business/industrial area of Tenerife so nothing for English tourists to do. We had difficulty making ourselves understood in nearby shops and restaurants. The hotel however was lovely. Finished to a very high standard but clearly meant for business people. Nice selection of items for breakfast.
"A quick business visit"
Far from the tourist frenzines but near to a lot of fantastic places to eat and a lot of commercial places with everything you may need. If you love sweet coffee ask for a barraquito anywhere. Canary island people love sweetie things to eat. The hotel is the typical biz place in the city, but believe me that this is a good standard if you want to have all the good urbanite services and also be near all the good places around the city. This is a small island and renting a car is the usual plus you need for a good experience. Parking is really easy, lots of places around the hotel, even free. Where's the catch'. Well is the North and is not so hot as the southern shore beaches plenty of tourist places. (Do you really want to be there all day'), Take you car a get around, or even better, walk down the street a get to a transport nexus to get to anywhere on a cheap fare. Having all services so near is a plus. And the biz quality of the rooms will treat you at executive level luxury. Not all included, but with everything you'll need at 3minutes from the hall door.
"Brilliant hotel, poor restaurant"
I have stayed at this hotel on a number of occasions and would highly recommend it for location, facilities and the rooms. The reception staff are always excellent. Don't whatever you do is use the restaurant!
