The good Very creative rooms - Very modern and clean. You get to pick what floor you want (all with different designs) and i recommend the 1st or 4th floor. They have very contemporary and cool designs. Close to airport - About 15 mins from the airport which was convenient for me because I had to jet back and forth a couple of times. The free breakfast - The spread was awesome. All kinds of pastries, eggs cooked in different ways, lots of rolls, veggies, wide variety of fruits and charcuterie. I really enjoyed going for breakfast every morning. I wish they started earlier though...7:30a is a little late to start breakfast for us early risers. The bad Don't bother waiting for the airport shuttle if you're pressed for time because it is never on time. I waited about 30 mins over the promised time both times I put myself on the schedule. Meanwhile other hotel shuttles passed by about 3 times in that same period. I recommend this hotel and would probably stay here again.
"M & J Pego Spain"
Excellent hotel, the bus service to the city centre was very frequent and only about half an hour depending on the traffic. I cannot recommend the hotel restaurant, but there are a lot of eating places not far away at a shopping moll at Artur Soraya about 3 kilometres away. One final thing, be wary of the bar in your room , the water was dearer than a good whiskey.
Would be super if the shuttle to airport was on time . Had to wait 15 min plus the driver had to drop a customer at terminal 1 then go back to terminal 4 which suppose to be the first stop . The driver has skills , good driving 👍
"Decent bed in a grey hotel"
I stayed at this hotel for business in September 2017. First of all location: the hotel is situated about 20 minutes away from Barajas airport and about 15 minutes away from the city centre. So it is actually close to nowhere. The area of the hotel is in next to a residential area but not really many shops or restaurants are around . A good few restaurants like Aranda are on walking distance but the choice is rather limited. So if you are looking to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the city I recommend to go closer to the city centre. The hotel itself is quiet difficult to explain as I couldn't get my head around It. The lobby is dated and contains some dark colours which does not make the hotel very vibrant nor funky. I know this hotel profiles itself as a business hotel but I was missing a pinch of salt to make it attractive . Also the outside of the building looks like a bit dreary. However I was pleasantly surprised with the rooms. As you will see on the pictures the rooms were spacious, neat and well equipped with a stuffed minibar, trouser press and LCD TV with English channels. The bathroom was surprisingly big with shower and bath as well as a bidet. Amenities were sufficient and smelled nicely . Another positive personally for me was that was that I was able to black out the room with the curtain in the room. Many hotels have this but it was pitch black dark in the room which made it easy to fall asleep and made me wonder what time it was when I woke up in the morning .The bed itself had a good hard mattress which I enjoyed. Breakfast: breakfast was the only meal I had at the hotel and the quality was rather good and varied. Eggs prepared in different ways, salmon, donuts, strawberries, etc. A decent selection although I didn't find a regular croissant but maybe I didn't look well enough. The breakfast room itself gave me the feeling however of a canteen. Bad lighting and no real atmosphere. an area in the hotel in need of a resuscitation. As a recap, I was rather pleased with the room but the hotel needs a bit of a "Botox" injection to make it just a tad bit more appealing.
I loved this hotel. However, I was kind of disappointed because there was no swimming pool but no matter, it was great anyway. I loved the sunset view from our room, it was beautiful. The hotel is next a bus stop so it is very easy for the transportation.
