Very friendly and accommodating staff. All of them spoke English. Nice and clean and quite big rooms, including the bathroom. A wide range of breakfast items are available, if you don't suffer from allergies. Then there are only some items you can choose from.
An excellent choice for a few days sightseeing trip to Madrid. Could not have chosen better. Free shuttle from the airport and to the city center is so convenient and practical. Breakfast are excellent and staff is very nice. Not to mention the beautiful and comfortable rooms. Thank you Silken Puerta Madrid!
We were told breakfast would be available at 7:30 am. When we got to the dining room at 7:30 am, it was packed with about 200 people in front of us with no place to sit. We asked the hostess if she would let us sit in the room next door; she sternly refused. Finally another gentleman in our group insisted so she let us in. However, the food trays were picked over with nothing left and were not replenished. We felt very disrespected by the treatment and what appeared to be an apparent lack of ability to handle overbooking. Other than that, the room was acceptable. Location is within walking distance to a supermarket and a few nice eateries but streets are quite dark at night so we went in a large group to be safe. We went out to eat because the food we had at the hotel the first night we arrived was really nothing to write home about.
The good Very creative rooms - Very modern and clean. You get to pick what floor you want (all with different designs) and i recommend the 1st or 4th floor. They have very contemporary and cool designs. Close to airport - About 15 mins from the airport which was convenient for me because I had to jet back and forth a couple of times. The free breakfast - The spread was awesome. All kinds of pastries, eggs cooked in different ways, lots of rolls, veggies, wide variety of fruits and charcuterie. I really enjoyed going for breakfast every morning. I wish they started earlier though...7:30a is a little late to start breakfast for us early risers. The bad Don't bother waiting for the airport shuttle if you're pressed for time because it is never on time. I waited about 30 mins over the promised time both times I put myself on the schedule. Meanwhile other hotel shuttles passed by about 3 times in that same period. I recommend this hotel and would probably stay here again.

Excellent hotel, the bus service to the city centre was very frequent and only about half an hour depending on the traffic. I cannot recommend the hotel restaurant, but there are a lot of eating places not far away at a shopping moll at Artur Soraya about 3 kilometres away. One final thing, be wary of the bar in your room , the water was dearer than a good whiskey.
