"Excellent hotel with excellent service"
Very good location if you are visiting for business reasons but also walking distance to old town. Rooms (I was upgraded to a superior one) are spacious and quality of bed and amenities is excellent. Front desk service very professional with an excellent English. Need to say I will come back.
"Five star hotel"
We stayed two nights on a Viking tour and it was a wonderful experience. The rooms are large and comfortable and spotless. We ate dinner one night at the Brasserie Restaurant and the food and service were very good. The front desk was very helpful. We will stay here again.
"Great location and pleasant staff"
The room was very modern. We had to call for extra towels and help on how to turn the lights up (room was a bit dark for woman who are putting makeup on) and we could not figure out how make the lamps brighter. We were with a tour group so breakfast included. Didn't care for the welcome dinner at night but that was due to the tour group agreement as others that had dinner there the 2nd night raved. The breakfasts were very hearty and delicious and the staff was extremely pleasant. This place had the only bar that we could find where we could get a glass of Riesling wine. Be sure to ask the bartender for a Polish Fog for an unforgettable drink. Beds comfortable, room clean. Recommending the hotel to other travelers.
"Best hotel in Warsaw!"
I am traveling to Warsaw regularly, every few months. I have tested many hotels (five star). Out of all of those, Sofitel is the most friendly out of all of them. Great stuff, nice rooms with nice bluetooth radio where you can plug your own music, ironing board (you dont have to ask for it every time), big modern TV, great internet connection - so everything what you need in business. What is very important for me, it seems to be the only 5 star hotel having nice vegetarian choice for breakfast, starting from fruits, soy cheese's, soy milk etc. Swimming pool is gorgeous, fitness is a bit limited - I missed thew pullup bar ;) Will come back for sure !
"Good Hotel in a Great Location"
We stayed twice at the Sofitel over a 10 day period. It is in a great location, about a 5 minute walk to the Presidential Palace and about a 15 minute walk to the Old Town. It also overlooks the square with the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The first stay was in a double room at the rear of the hotel and for the second stay we were upgraded to a two room suite at the from of the hotel. Both rooms were good sizes for Europe and were well furnished, although the furnishings are a little dated. The bathrooms were also a good size and well equipped . The staff was friendly and very helpful The price/quality for the rooms is very good. The buffet breakfast is very pricey and it is easy to walk a short distance to a cafe/coffee shop.
