"OLD AND NOISY WITH TERRIBLE HOUSEKEEPING!!!"
The hotel needs major renovations. Its located near the highway so its very noisy. We walked in to a dirty room!! They left dirty towels in the bathroom and dirty sheets outside of our room. When we called housekeeping they blamed it on us even though we had JUST CHECKED IN!! Housekeeping only had 2 towels where most places will give at least 4 in a 2 bedroom queen with a pull out coach room.
"One less headache"
Close proximity to the hospital. The staff and accommodations are wonderful. The staff understands that many people are there for the hospital facilities and just make your stay easy and comfortable. Thank you!
"Convenient Place to pre and post cruise stay"
This hotel is located very close to the Port of Miami and provides a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and a reasonable ($8pp) shuttle from the hotel to the port. That makes the hotel a very convenient place for a pre and post cruise stay. The hotel room is very clean and is of good size. Having said that. There is nothing within walking distance although the Wynwood Wall is a short distance (about $10 cab fare) and so is Little Havana. But watch out for cab drivers taking out of town folks for a long route. I will stay there again this October before my cruise. .
"Great overnight stay"
We only stayed here for 1 night before a cruise, but I will be returning for more nights. I was a little nervous when we first arrived but walking into the lobby eased my concerns. The lobby was clean and inviting. At first we opted to do the street parking behind the hotel but decided against it. The area looked a little shady. Parking for $17 a night was a little steep for me, but it was worth my peace of mind. Once we got to the room, I was more than pleased. The room was spacious and amazing. The set up of the room was great. It was like a mini suite. I loved the bathroom and the shower. The staff was friendly. My only complaint was the breakfast, if you could call it that. I was very disappointed about that. I didn't even eat anything and my husband who did, was highly disappointed. Other than that, I will be returning, just eating breakfast out.
"Overnight stay before cruise from Ft Lauderdale"
This was a good choice for an overnight stay. We arrived at 9pm by Uber from Miami airport. It took 15 minutes. Then in the morning, we had a very nice breakfast there including oatmeal, waffles, boiled eggs, fruit, cold cereal, danish and bagels. Nice coffee and tea setup. We took Uber to Port Everglades and it took about 25 minutes. We thought we should have stayed in Ft Lauderdale, but this was fine and a lot cheaper! Very comfortable bed! Quiet and good staff at desk.
