"Good for a short stay"
Hotel is situated a little out of town but the s bahn is in walking distance. Rooms are ok could use modernising, restaurant is expensive so is the bar menu and the is ok only. Staff friendly and helpfull.
Breakfast is excellent. Room is a bit worn. Bed too soft for me. Annoying whistling from the air-con kept me awake a bit. Bathroom not good as it's a shower inside a bath rather than stand-alone shower. No noise from other rooms though. Overall fine for a couple of nights but for me that's enough.
"Nice enough hotel, but I won't rush back"
Recently stayed here when working in D'dorf. The hotel is about 10 min walk from the S11 line, so more convenient than hotel in Neuss centre. The hotel was quite smart and rooms were typical business standard - good size, nicely furnsihed and bathroom was clean. No tea or coffee is available in the room, which seems common in Germany, but I find disappointing. The restaurant was closed but the bar was serving food - the menu wasn't extensive but the food was quite nice. Breakfast was good. I was unable to charge the room to my company account, which is my company's policy which was annoying.
"It looks better than it is"
Very disappointed in what I thought was going to be a very good hotel. Stayed four nights and reported fridge not working and plumbing noise in the bathroom which woke me up each time. No attempt to repair or communicate with me at any time during my stay. At 100 euros per night, the rooms would be a little tired but OK. I will not be using Swissotel group unless I have no other choice. The pool facility was very good.
"I was not that convinced"
Evening restaurant very dissapointing due to unengaged staff that night. Morning restaurant quite good though. Rooms are quite ok, clean and modern with flatt screen tv. Area has a Big mall where you can find many stores. Next to hotel you find the river Rhine.
