"Very spacious and quiet rooms."
Located very close to the parliament, the Capitol Hotel has very good access to multiple railway lines for easy access to all of Tokyo. In a quiet area and therefore sleep is well enjoyed The rooms are very spacious and clean, with very large and well stocked bathroom. Most of the staff spoke some English and a few were very fluent.
"Great hotel conveniently located on metro station"
Rooms are beautifil, spacious, nicely designed and clean. And, oh, those japanese toilets, theyare really great once you figured out all the buttons. Staff is very helpful and polite. If you go down the elevator you get to the metro station with great connections to get around in Tokyo.
"It is nice but could be better"
This a hotel in a quiet corner in Akasaka. If you are looking for activities at night and places to explore at night, this is not the right hotel. Check in is smooth and the hotel room is nice and generally all are in good order. Our room did not include breakfast but we had breakfast there. The food is very well laid out and taste good. Eggs freshly prepared and the service is good. We also try the Suiren Japanese restaurant but disappointed that the the whole feel is more western rather than Japanese fine dinning. Food is all right. Disappointing that they will charge you for the changing room and caught by surprise. You need to change to your swimming costume or sportswear in your room before going downstairs. That means you could look rather odd in the lift.
"Awesome modern hotel in central tokyo"
This place is a hidden gem and is a great alternative to the American brand hotels. Great views, luxurious modern rooms with rainhead showers, excellent staff, right on top of a subway station, it pretty much has it all. I have zero complaints.
"Stylish Design Hotel with Japanese Sensibility"
We recently stayed 5 nights at the Capitol Hotel Tokyu and truly enjoyed the experience. The design and style of the hotel is contemporary, clean yet retains its Japanese roots. The gardens and water features are soothing and remarkably beautiful. The large Sogetsu Japanese flower arrangements are striking and stunning. The lobby and common areas are tasteful and comfortable and the rooms are extremely comfortable and well designed with fantastic views of the Tokyo skyline. We really loved the layout and design of the bathroom and shower. The service and warmth of the staff were notable and we really loved the hotel's location. We'd previously stayed at the Peninsula, which is closer to Ginza but in many ways we preferred the Capitol and its location, also immediately above a series of major subway stations making getting around Tokyo very convenient. To top it off there is a Shinto shrine literally adjacent to the hotel which is soothing, calm and beautiful and given that we were there in the midst of cherry blossom season, just walking in the area was spiritual and memorable.
