This hotel is due to close and get renovated. It is probably still worth a visit beforehand. Rooms are spacious and clean. Food and drinks are lovely. It easy to get anywhere from the hotel and it offers a sun-filled pool. Spa is overpriced for the city. Lovely park and shopping centre just a short walk away.
"Very good hotel"
This is well maintained hotel and good location. Room is spacious and full equiped. I stayed for 2 nights on bussiness trip and found this hotel very convenient. Team members are very friendly and helpful and greeting us whenever we met. Overall is good stay Thank you
"Beautiful hotel in a central location"
We booked this hotel because it was close to the yoga studio that we were going to. Boy, were we glad we did. The hotel is gorgeous and had everything including a pool, sauna and steam room, a whole separate wing with golfing and racquet ball/squash if you are interested in bringing your game with you on vacation. We were given a room with a beautiful view of the city and two balconies! The room is huge. The bathroom, however, had plumbing issues with the hot water cutting off and on and constant water spills on the floor. I understand that the hotel will be renovated soon, so I am sure this issue will be fixed. Besides that, everything else was awesome. I loved that you can get everything in house including all types of cuisines albeit pricey for Bangkok, gifts, great coffee, and I can even borrow yoga mats! We enjoyed our stay and hope to be able to return to the new hotel on our future Bangkok visits. Special thanks to the concierge for organizing our tour to Amphawa and Mae Klong market.
"Past its best, but still excellent"
Stayed for 3 night on a stop over in Bangkok ,before returning home. This hotel was obviously once a shining star in Bangkok terms, the lobby and general public areas are still splendid. Our room was 405 and overlooked the pool area , room was well appointed. We where concerned on the way to the room as some of the corridors are in need of new carpets and paint. Service throughout our stay was exemplary. Service charge and taxes in restaurant and bar are to be noted as they do up the cost. All told would stay again, good location close to MBK shopping centre and night markets, metro and sky train. Hotel is now due to close in Jan 2019 for renovation, would look forward to going back when it is done as I think it will be magnifcent
"Favorite Hotel in the world"
Dusit Thani Bangkok is my most favorite hotel. I have stayed here over 20 times and I really enjoy the hotel, the friendly staff, large rooms and amenities and the excellent location. The hotel has all the modern amenities while it still reflects Thai culture, unlike some of the other hotels in Bangkok. It's a shame the hotel will close Jan 5th 2019 for demolition and rebuild, I will find it hard to find a replacement that will suit my needs. I have often recommended this hotel to friends.
