Great location, attentive service and large spacious room great for our family of 3. Little dated but clean and tidy so no complaints and was worth the money spent.Comment of H. Cassandra , New Zealand the 2016-08-23
Concierge were really friendly and helpful. We're able to get a early check in on the day. Location was perfect - walking distance to shops, restaurants, Rogers area etc.Comment of M. Lauren , Australia the 2015-10-24
Overall a pleasant experience. Did not dine at the hotel due to the excessive cost.Comment of N. William , Canada the 2015-09-14
This was a perfect spot for our three day Vancouver getaway. Ideally located, old-school luxurious, classic Fairmont service. The hotel was undergoing renovations during our stay, and it was very noisy at times, even from within our room. As long as you aren't spending a lot of time in your room during the day, this isn't too much of an issue -- though I wouldn't have wanted to attempt an afternoon nap. On the whole, it was great value for the price that we paid, and we would happily stay there again.Comment of J. Dawn , Canada the 2015-08-26

"So stylish and perfectly situated in the city"
Although I only stayed for a short visit, I was very impressed with the property, the staff and my room -- which was stunning in every way. The entire hotel features "old world" charm and I was upgraded to a suite with terrazzo floors and a large seating area. Regarding location, it was about a 10 minute easy walk to the Duomo and the touristy areas -- and all the high end shops are immediately outside the "secret" back door. My business colleague had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant, considered one of the best in the city. It has a "clubby" feel, and was packed the night we dined there. It's definitely a hot spot and known as the place for a "power lunch" -- so you might see some celebrities or fashion industry players, there. Oh, and breakfast is not to be missed...especially the delicious breads!!
This hotel is beautiful however the drinks are the most expensive I have ever seen. $184 euro for 6 drinks. When our bill came and we questioned it we were told that's normal for a 5 star hotel. We have been to plenty and never paid this.
"Nice but choose your room carefully"
My wife and I traveled to Milan through a travel service and consequently had no control over the nature or location of our room. It was right on Via Senatus and on a low floor; so there was traffic noise that could have been avoided with more care. The room was very attractive but small. It was, however, well-appointed. Our only complaint about it was that the shower leaked past onto the bathroom floor. We did have one odd experience. We arrived in the middle of the afternoon after a flight from New York, and, as you can imagine, wanted a shower posthaste. Which we took. We really wanted fresh towels at that point, but there was no turn-down service to change them. So we went to bed early, needing sleep after our trans-Atlantic fight. At 9 PM we were awakened by a maid wanting to know whether we wanted fresh towels. I was not dressed to admit the maid and my wife was still half-asleep. So I said we'd like them early in the morning. However, we didn't actually get them until after we had eaten breakfast. I should also say that otherwise the staff were very helpful and the hotel very pleasant with a nice bar and breakfast area. And, yes, the location is great.
"Boutique Hotel in a great location"
We recently stayed at this Hotel for 2 days. We were very impressed with the service we received by all the staff especially by the Concierge. They were very helpful giving us information about the surrounding area. The hotel room we stayed in was great quite modern in fact with a distant view of the rooftop of the Duomo. On one of the nights the air conditioning in our room was not working so after a call to reception at about 9 pm we were promptly given another room for the night. The Hotel is within walking distance to some of the famous sights of Milan - The Duomo di Milano and The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele are about a 10 min walk as well as all the designer stores in Via Della Spiga which is literally at the doorstep.
Love the hotel location, amidst top designer boutiques. You can literally step out of your hotel and you are in Via Della Spiga. Our room is nice but small by American standards although it has everything you will need for your stay. Beds are comfortable, enough English channels your TV plus free wifi and complimentary bottled water and nespresso coffee. I would stay here again.
